The alternator on my 4runner stopped working and I made the questionable decision to buy a new one and install it myself. Unfortunately, I could not manage to get the new one to fit. I called and spoke to Dorian about the issue and to discuss timeline and cost for finishing the job for me. Dorian was very intrigued and impressed by a young woman attempting the job itself. Instead of letting me tow my car to his shop and have him complete the work, he offered to bring a grinder to my house to grind the new piece down to get it to fit so I could continue working from there. Not only did he come within the hour, but he had to run back to the shop after arriving to get a replacement battery for the grinder. He ground the new one down until it fit and helped get one bolt on and secured before giving me some advice on sequence of next steps. He left the rest to me and refused to take the money I offered him. I was able to finish the job (a big personal accomplishment) thanks to him. I was so amazed by this act, none of my family could believe it when I explained what he did for me. I am new to Atlanta but can confidently say I found my new mechanic!

Dorian explained the reason why I was seeing the symptoms, filled air in the tires, and made me feel comfortable. Since he did not fix anything he did not charge me. I was very worried when I drove in and left feeling relieved. He is a great human being who puts humanity ahead of business.
