Glenn Hall's Repair

Warning to Potential Customers: I strongly advise against taking your vehicle to Gleen Harris for any mechanical work. After keeping our vehicle for over a month, he claimed the issue was fixed—only for one of the repaired parts to fail within a week. We located and purchased the replacement part ourselves and requested a refund for the faulty one he sold us. The shop refused, stating they could not issue a refund because they didn’t perform the second repair. That reasoning is unacceptable. How could we trust them to redo the work when it wasn’t done correctly the first time? We paid $2,400 for substandard service and poor workmanship. Save yourself the frustration, time, and money—do not use this mechanic.

My son found this local shop for his girlfriend. Car brought in for a drip under engine and a shake in steering. Was told steering pump and front wheel hub and bearing were bad. Cost $500+ to fix the hub alone. Took it to a friend's shop since I didn't agree with this diagnosis. Found the tie rod end was bad not the front hub assembly. The leak wasn't bad from the pump all it needed was to have a line tightened up about a quarter turn. Found out steering pump was replaced by previous owner 5 months ago. He also said he emptied and recharged the ac which wasn't true as the system had no charge on it by that night. Previously it had to be charged and lasted 3-4 months before needing a charge again, he pushed replacing the compressor and evaporator. No way it lost a full charge overnight unless the lines got " somehow" loosened. He wanted $3000+ for all his "work". Totally misdiagnosed the problem but had no problem charging $200 labor. When I called and told him what we found his answer was " well in sorry" , sorry doesn't cut it. I demanded he refund the diagnosis charge and he scoffed and mumbled something. Disputing on the c. c. . Stay away from this shop they're incompetent and not honest. Took advantage of a girl , despicable behavior.

Came in with one problem, left with 2. Charged me $620.00 for a part he replaced that was broken. Then stated nothing he can do about it. Worst garage in town. Stay away

I stopped by Glenn's shop the other day to have something looked at on my truck. When I walked in, Glenn was in the main waiting area speaking with 2 other gentlemen. They were in a conversation and I did not want to interrupt, so I stood by the counter and waited to speak with Glenn. My assumption was that they were talking about one of the men's vehicles and the repair getting/needed to be done. Please know that I was only 3-5 feet from Glenn and could hear the entire conversation between the 3 men. I quickly realized that this was a "catch-up" conversation about how many engines Glenn had built, pull cars that he had fully restored, and some guy that got out of prison and really turned his life around. At this point, NO ONE IN THE ROOM has acknowledged my existence. Again, I was close enough to know details of the conversation and even jump in if I wanted to. After about 3-5 minutes, the phone rang and Glenn excused himself (to the other 2) and answered the phone. When he was finished, he came back into the room and went right back to his conversation. And again, without a single acknowledgement to my existence in his building. I turned and exited the building and no one said anything. I have never been completely satisfied with his work, we have had to repeatedly go back or to someone else to get problems readdressed. His customer service has always been lacking but this was absolutely one of the rudest experiences I have had in a business to date. I do not suggest this business at all. Poor customer service and subpar mechanic.

Fantastic service! I was unable to replace a wheel hub and bearing on my own so I brought the pieces over to Glenn. Glenn and the guys were super friendly and had the parts changed and ready for pick up as promised. Jackie then followed up a couple days later to make sure everything went well. I couldn't be happier with the service received.
