Having been previously owner and operator of several Auto Repair Shops in the past, I was extremely cautious when the water pump gave way on my cherished 2002 Chevy Avalanche 1500. I called AAA and they promptly recommended Andy's Auto Repairs in St. Cloud, FL, as my nearest AAA approved Service Station. AAA picked up my vehicle and dropped it off at Andy's. Within hours they called me with a reasonable estimate for the repairs. They promptly performed the repairs, and I was able to pickup my vehicle. They were efficient, fair, and professional during the entire process. I'll certainly utilize the services of Andy's Auto Repairs in the future, and gladly recommend them. Great business, great people, always a great experience. This was my second vehicle getting worked on. Excellent work, friendly staff, great front office. The Negative reviews are probably just hateful people. It’s hard to find a good mechanic that’s transparent and consistent.

We took our car in to have it checked over before taking a trip out west being it's a 2016. To make sure it was sound, or if it were time for a new car. Andy went through everything and serviced the AC and anything else he found. We got it back the same day and got a clean bill of health for it. He said with no more miles we have on it ( under 65,000) and no problems we should keep it. My point is Andy is the most honest Mechanic you'll find anywhere. I know some will make up things wrong to make more money, but not Andy. He'll tell you like it is, and won't charge you an arm or leg. We've known Andy for years and he's as good of person as a Mechanic. We highly recommend him.

Beware of the RATS in this place! My wife took her 2018 Jeep to these guys to have what was originally diagnosed as a brake and abs issue. Once the jeep was taken apart we were told that there was several hundred more dollars in repairs that needed to be done. This went smooth enough. When my wife picked up the jeep she noticed that the Bluetooth in the stereo was not working, and the speakers were not working properly. She didn't put too much thought into it initially thinking that the stereo needed to be adjusted and the Bluetooth synced. After a closer look she found where a rat had eaten part of her floor mat and there was rat poop throughout the jeep and he got into some of her other stuff in the back of the jeep. I had her drive back to Andy's to let them know about this, thinking that since they were mechanics they might take a quick look at it to see if it was something that they could repair. They were pleasant and apologized, and that was it? We made an appointment with the audio store that installed the audio system to have it repaired. The rat chewed up quite a few wires and almost shorted the system out which would have made it inoperable. This repair bill was over $400.00. I drove by Andy's myself after paying the bill and showed them the bill. They apologized? I guess that my biggest issue here is that they didn't make any attempt to accept the responsibility of their Rat eating my car while it was in their possession. They apologized yes, but I didn't feel any empathy, and they certainly did not accept any responsibility for the damages that they created. I'm actually glad that the Rat ate stereo wires and not engine harness wires. So in closing ... don't leave your vehicle inside Andy's over night. They have a Rat infestation, and they will attack your vehicle, and Andy's will say, "I'm sorry". Tim Mehrlich
