While traveling to Tampa for work, my van unexpectedly broke down on the highway, leaving me stranded about 20 minutes away from my destination. The tow truck driver advised me that I would need a mechanic, but unfortunately, he wasn’t familiar with the area. After searching online, I came across Danny’s Auto Service and gave them a call. From the moment they answered, they reassured me that they would be there to help when I arrived, which immediately gave me peace of mind since I was far from home and unfamiliar with the area. When I arrived at the shop, I explained the situation. Despite having a busy schedule and nearing closing time, the team took the time to thoroughly inspect my van. Yesterday I went to Tire Kingdom just for an oil change on my car. This morning, to my surprise, the check engine light came on. I became extremely worried, especially because my car is new and I take very good care of it. I went back to Tire Kingdom so they could check what was going on. They spent more than half an hour looking at the car, connected the diagnostic machine, and told me the problem was related to the oxygen sensor and that I should look for a specialist. Honestly, that made me even more concerned. Then I went to Danny’s Auto Repair in St. Cloud, and it was the best decision I could have made. From the moment I arrived, Steve and the entire team treated me with so much respect, attention, care, and honesty. They truly showed concern for both me and my car. After carefully checking everything, they discovered that the issue was actually nothing serious at all. The oil cap had simply been left open after the oil change at Tire Kingdom, and they had also left my car dirty. The team at Danny’s Auto checked everything thoroughly, reassured me, and explained that my car was perfectly fine. I’m very grateful for the honest, caring, and professional service I received. Nowadays it’s hard to find people who are this respectful, attentive, and genuinely caring. I had to fix something on my car that I was putting off for close to 3 months (nothing major, but the sooner I did, the better) and recently was having issues with my spark plugs, so decided to change them as well. I called around to multiple other shops around the area and got quoted crazy prices. Mind you, I already had the parts, just needed to get labor. I called this place up and not only did I get quoted a great price, the gentleman who ran the shop was able to see me within a day of me calling and started working on my car within 5 minutes of me arriving there. Super nice guy as well, had no issues with him. This place's reviews helped influence my decision to come here and thankfully, it paid off in the end. Edit (12/30/25): Went back here again because I had to get my Starter replaced. It was kind of last minute because my car was starting to act up bad, so I couldn't afford to buy the parts online from Rockauto and just pay for the labor. While checking my car, he took out my starter and showed me just how bad it was. He also showed me my Front Axle and how it looked like it was about to come apart. He was able to get both parts and more than likely would have been able to finish the same day, had my front axle not gave him issues. I was charged for parts and labor for both, but even after having to leave it overnight and waiting more time than expected to get it the next day, I didn't get anything tacked on extra and paid the same amount he quoted me at the beginning (it was also cheaper as I initially called a bunch of other shops around the area to get quotes and they were all 400-600 more than what I was quoted here; this was when I thought my alternator was the issue, but still). Different guy that saw me from the previous visit, but still just as chill.

My family was about halfway between Miami and our home in Crystal River when my car started losing all electrical function, and we got a “terminal battery fail” message. Stranded 2 hours from home, i was afraid we would be sitting ducks for a huge repair bill. What we found at Danny’s was the opposite. They worked on mg car on a Sunday and gave us a fair price for all the work they did. They kept us up to date with their progress and did a wonderful job. If we lived closer, Danny’s would be my regular mechanic. Use their services with confidence !!!

Danny’s Auto is the Best! I dropped my vehicle off for a replacement engine. We ordered an engine from LKQ with next day delivery and they replaced it the same day the engine arrived! I cannot thank them enough for getting me back on the road so quickly & efficiently, I will definitely be coming back for future repairs!
