Burke Corvettes

I should have written this years ago...today was the last straw. This has been stewing in me for years. First- nice guy & the paint was flawless, but It seems like every time I work on my car I find parts that are broken that should have been replaced or they just weren't put back on the car.  Today I found out the passenger side cowl drain is missing...completely missing.  That is the side the car was hit on.  There are a litany of parts either missing or broken.... i.e. the HUD - pivot hinges broken in crash - not repaired, plastic in radio bezel broken - not replaced.  Ear on reflector on the passenger door - broken off, the cover in the passenger door towards the back - missing, center console where it bolts down broken, bezel where the trunk release mounts broken.  The sway bar was bent in the wreck.  When I went back to address this he said, "you can't just keep bringing the car back" that was about 3-4 weeks after the repair.  The wheel he got to replace the one that was broken had a defect in the casting - they welded it!  They are chrome wheels! are you kidding me - response - the wheel is past the warranty - which after further research I found out the wheels had a warranty against 'manufacturers defect'.  The NAPA that mounted the tire next door couldn't figure out why the wheel was leaking- I took it back to them 3 times!.  I took it to a tire shop in Daytona - they figured it out in about 3 or 4 minutes.  I'm afraid to see what I am going to find broken when I take the dash pad off to repair the HUD (air bags deployed).  The air bag cover on the passenger side has a sheen defect - part of it is mat/flat the other half is shinier - shouldn't have been installed. I can chalk all of this up to ignorance on my behalf.  It was the first time I was in a wreck and had to deal with insurance (Geico)  and the repair shop.  The insurance co's adjuster had an inaccurate list of repairs - when Burks brought it to their attention they asked can you fix it for that number?  I didn't know that meant they were not going to restore my car to pre-wreck status.  The car should have been totaled it was only a few hundred away from that. The HUD would have pushed it over - let alone the bezels & sway bar. Maybe if you have a concourse restoration going on over there you will get a fair shake - daily driver C5/C6 I don't know.

Tim Burke is the guy to go to if you need body repairs for your Corvette. After a collision, they fixed my C6 and honestly it looks even better than before the accident. Tim went through a lot just to save my OEM headlight, which shows he really cares about his customers and the cars he works on.

They are miracle workers everywhere in Florida told me the job was impossible . They all said all the parts are impossible to source due to them being discontinued . But the guys over here looked at this and said let's get it done . There is truly no one else that you should be going to if you care about your corvette . Everything every other shop said they couldn't do at all they did . Every piece every other shop told me I had to totally replace they fixed without having to replace . At the end of the day if you aren't going here to get your job done you are truly making a mistake ! Legends are here don't miss out on the corvette gods

They do very poor work. The hood on my 58 wasn’t prepared properly by them and immediately the paint bubbled. They wouldn’t resort or repaint it. They were more interested in getting my car out the door as quick as they could and getting paid. The parts decals were still left on all the parts they put on. They had no interest in “making it right”. I advise anyone I see with a Vette not to use them!

Brought my 2014 to Burke corvettes after getting slammed by a semi at a light, a few weeks later, Tim and his son got her all fixed up right. The color match is phenomenal Can't even tell that it was respayed in the back. It looks better then when I purchased the car. Thanks again Burke corvettes for the outstanding job...
