I called Kondo after finding them on Next Door. An actual skilled mechanic answered the phone and diagnosed the issue with my car. I didn’t have to bring it in to the shop luckily, in fact he told me not to and what to do instead. He made a customer for life and I haven’t even been their customer yet ha. Grateful to know of a solid, trustworthy mechanic on the west side. I feel at ease now about car troubles because I know where to go for reasonable, reliable care

A friend recommended me here when I needed an oil change. Mom n' Pop ship. Very friendly staff! Very reasonable prices AND they were pretty efficient (I was done in 30-45mins max, though I did come early in the morning). I can't complain. Will definitely try them again for other services in the future!

My check engine light came on and Wil offered to run the diagnostic for free, unlike all the other mechanics I called in Santa Monica. He spent some time talking through what the issue might be and what my options were. Also, the shop was very clean and had a friendly atmosphere, so I’ll definitely go back when I need work done!

I love this shop. Will is a great service writer. The mechanics are clean and cool. They’ve actually done some simple tweaks on my 1984 Nissan King Cab and have never charged me. Jose is amazing mechanic and good dude.
