Finally found a lifelong shop in LA. They run an honest, fair and quality operation. Not to mention, just a straight up friendly crew. I would tow my car across county lines for their smooth, transparent service and expertise. I was having transmission issues with my 07 Mustang and, after a suspicious diagnosis from another shop, I took my car here for a second opinion off of a friend’s recommendation. Best decision I could have made. From the jump, Carlos and his team were helpful, attentive, and transparent. They quickly and properly diagnosed the issue, gave me a very reasonable quote and communicated how long the repair would take and why. After fixing the transmission problem, Carlos notified me of some other issues he noticed upon inspection (tires, suspension). Stuff I had been ignoring or putting off, but necessary repairs to make my aging car (123k miles) healthy and safe to drive. Carlos talked me through the details of every single repair, cost and all. It was one of the most transparent and understanding conversations I’ve ever had with a mechanic. He helped me reach a very fair bottom line and did the repairs in a day. Maintaining a car is stressful, annoying and expensive. These guys know that, and they make the process as seamless and comfortable as possible. I'll never go anywhere else again.

Carlos got me in first thing in the morning on a Saturday! His crew worked quickly, were reliable and honest. I was on the road with a few loose belts and needing to get back home to Arizona and they really made it happen for me. Not the most usual car to work on either being that it was an 85 Nissan 300zx. Thankful to have read all the great reviews on this shop which led me there. I don’t usually write reviews but they most certainly deserve a great one. Thanks again!

Ask for Carlos! I needed an emergency fuel pump change on a Mercedes. These guys didn’t hesitate. The work was great, fair prices, and let me tell you, my car runs excellent! Professional, communicative, efficient! They know what they are doing there. Highly recommended.

Edit: look at the response. This reflects the point I was trying to make here. Any constructive or negative criticism is "retaliation" or somebody out to "hurt" the business. The lack of integrity is clearly on display. Very quick to take your car in but very slow to make progress. No updates or ETAs, just a lot of "your parts will be in today/tomorrow, it will be done today," everyday, for several days. Sure, the price might be okay, but the added expense of Ubers to and from work really eat into whatever savings you might get compared to going elsewhere that can deliver on promise times. Front brakes, front shocks, alignment and spark plugs is a four, maybe five hour book time combined on my car but I saw my car on the street for three days. I used to wrench but don't feel like doing it anymore. Front brake pads and rotors and shocks were a half hour each for me, spark plugs, coils, and wires, another 45 minutes, and an alignment took 30-45. You'd expect something similar at a professional shop. The place is mess and doesn't look like they care about that very much. There are parts and machines everywhere making it very easy to fall or trip over something and get hurt on your way to the desk. I'm sure they do good work but first impressions make a big impact. Most shops have a lobby or chairs, this one had a filthy couch next to a bathroom with Fast Orange hand degreaser as "soap." It just looks like they slapped some tables together in a drive through, quick lube bay with motors, transmissions, A/C machines, and hoists everywhere. Many shops create spaces that indicate they care about their customer, this one did not. The younger guy at the counter was very nice and helped me figure out what I needed to fix my car, but the older guy seemed annoyed or irritated when he was asked questions or for help. Younger guy was polite and didn't try to take advantage of me. There's a worker shortage, appreciate what you have, even if you have to answer a question or two in between loud YouTube videos. When I finally came back for my car, the older guy was passed out on the couch snoring, leaving everything to the younger guy that seemed new. Not a great look. Lastly, look at how negative reviews are responded to and consider the approach they take when something goes wrong. Most of the reviews are good, but those few negatives speak for themselves.

I knew from the first call I made here that my car was going to be in good hands! Carlos and the crew took my car in same day and updated me every step of the process. Great service and pricing all around. If you’re on the west side, this is the place to take your car for anything you need!
