Service Department at Culver City Honda

I had a really good experience getting my oil change at Honda in Culver City. It was super easy to schedule my appointment, and everything went smoothly from the moment I got there. The staff was friendly and professional, and they got me in and out pretty quickly. Service was honestly 10 out of 10. The waiting area was clean and comfortable, which made the time go by fast. They even have a really good coffee machine, and the coffee was actually delicious. Overall, it was a simple, stress free experience and I’ll definitely be coming back.

I had a really frustrating experience with the service department. When I dropped my car off, I tried to confirm the price for a brake fluid change before the work was done. I texted and called the service advisor I was working with but never got a response. When I came back to pick up my car, she wasn’t there, so I had to find someone else to help me check out. At that point I was charged $40 more than they price their service. I know this because I later called and asked about the price again as if I wasn’t already a customer, and I was quoted the lower price. I also called another nearby Honda location and they quoted me even less. Being charged $260 for a brake fluid change is already expensive, so the extra $40 felt really unreasonable and made it seem like the pricing isn’t consistent. They told me I could come back in and they would refund the $40, but that meant I had to take time out of my workday to drive back. When I got there, the same service advisor gave me a bad attitude and told me I had to wait until she finished helping another guest. I asked if a manager could just process the refund so I wouldn’t have to wait, and she got snippy before saying “give me 3 minutes.” If she had simply said that from the beginning, I would have gladly waited. Overall the communication, pricing transparency, and customer service were disappointing. I won’t be coming back.

My overall experience at Culver City Honda is always a pleasant one. From the associates greeting you upon arrival to the associates explaining what you need and the techs that are doing the actual job, warm, informative and accommodating. Very comfortable waiting room. I especially like the info that is shared during the time of servicing. The videos that you can see what’s going on under your hood and clear instructions what is needed and what will be done. Couldn’t ask for better communication. Culver Honda will always be my dealer for all my needs. A great big thank you. Last but not least Travis is the man, very friendly and professional

Five stars and above!!! Jennifer welcomed me, took care of my oil change process, sent me video it had great communications with me regarding the process. I would recommend Honda Of Culver City in a RP. As opposed to Honda Of Hollywood, it's like night and day of the service. I will always go to Honda Of Culver City. And Jennifer should get a raise for being such an outstanding representative of the company. She really shows compassion and care.

My car was there was a regular oil change and a brake flush. I called 3 times and spoke to 3 technicians, all of whom said it’s an all day job. So I was forced to schedule it on a weekend. But after I dropped off my car, they ultimately informed me that it only takes 2 hours. I had to re-organize my day. Also, the prices I was quoted over the phone were wrong. My invoice showed a higher price and when I brought it to Jennifer’s attention, her response was that my call would’ve been directed to the Utah office and those aren’t the correct prices! I had called the number for my local Culver City service department listed on their website. Also, they failed to provide me a correct invoice. I kept asking her to look at what she had sent me and she would not. Just kept repeating that it’s all there. After multiple texts with Jennifer, she finally looked and acknowledged that they had failed to provide me the correct invoice and emailed it to me. She gave me a small discount as well. But that didn’t even come close to the frustration I suffered and loss of my time in this whole botched up service.
