Automed Car Care

Rip-off. I called Automed for an oil change, and Fernando told me on the phone it would be $89. I mentioned that I had already bought my own oil and filter, and he said it would be around $85, so I told him I would just return items then later. When I dropped off the car, I did not confirm the price again, which was apparently my mistake. Still, I clearly told the front desk that there was oil and a filter on the passenger seat and that they should ignore them because I was going to return them. When I came back to pick up the car, nobody told me the total. I was simply told to tap my card. When I asked for the price, I was told it was around $151. I asked why the price was different from what I had been told on the phone, but nobody could give me a clear answer. The employee went to speak with the manager, and I could hear them talking about me and being visually not happy about that. When Fernando came over, he still did not explain the price difference even when I stated that I am okay to pay $151 if I have been told that. He just kept repeating that they were only charging me $69 for labor. I told him they could have simply charged the $89 that was originally quoted, but that was ignored. He was seemingly not happy about this situation. After I left, I also noticed that they had taken my old oil, my oil filter, and my receipt from the car. On top of that, they drove my car around the block, which I know because I have GPS installed, and they did not ask for my permission. Overall, very poor communication and a frustrating experience.

The first time I came here was for some routine maintenance/repairs I had pending with my car and they were exceptionally respectful, and more reasonable about the price than nearly any other auto shop I've been to. Other auto shops have left me feeling price-gouged, and I am uninspired to return for their services. However, I feel that I can trust Automed, not only because of how great their pricing is, but also due to how long the maintenance has lasted without any hiccups. I have gone back numerous times and referred the shop to many of my friends and family, with which they too have had wonderful experiences. I hope you go here, and I wish this company future success because it's not often that I see genuine care for one's craft and generosity in the world today.

The owner Mr Sakeo is very professional that provides exceptional customer service. He was direct in addressing my request for a smog certification. The service was very quick and pleasant. Great service. I would recommend this station for great service.

Literally the best auto shop ever! I had some tumbleweed stuck in the front of my car and they were able to take it out for me very easily. They even did a check of my car free of charge! No other mechanic shop does this!! Honestly these are reliable , fair priced , and very nice people who take their shop seriously!! I would recommend 100%%!! If you are ever in need of a simple check or have something on your mind that’s worrying you just go here!! They are also very quick and efficient, got me done in less than 30 minutes!!

Automed Car Care continues to be my go-to for oil changes and repairs. From dropping by after work to inform them of the issues to picking up my car after it’s been serviced, the process is fluid and reduces my anxiety and stress. Jerry was very helpful in my recent visit! 🙏🏻
