I arrived at Rafi’s and spoke with Axel after exploring some other autoshops in the area to fix a coolant leak. He was friendly and forthcoming with potential costs and discounts, so I decided to stick with this shop. Definitely cheaper to go here than a dealership, without lacking in quality, and they added some extra perks like fixing scratches on my car and topping off my oil for free. I appreciated the transparency with the costs and was happy with the final pricing after speaking with Ronnie. Giovanni was also great with showing what adjustments they made with my car. Thank you! I’ll be back for future repairs :)

My wife and I have been taking our BMW to Rafi for the past 10 years. The workmanship has been nothing less than exceptional. He's technicians are highly skilled and the repairs are done right the first time. Rafi (owner) takes the time to explain what needs to be done and why. He shares photos so you can also see what is being discussed. He is the best in Culver City and Southern California. If you drive a German car, Rafi Autotech is without a doubt the place to go. Rafi is a one of kind, went to him but my I thought i needed a new Catalyst Converter but Rafi looked into the matter in a timely manner and saved me a fortune and got my car to pass smog. He even covered my car rental fee for the day. Honest and reliable mechanics are hard to find, Rafi is a cut above.

took my car in for a simple oil change and asked them to check a strange noise it was making. They told me they would inspect it and call me with an update. The next day, they called and said the issue was with the admission system and quoted me $1,700 to fix it. I agreed. Later, they called again saying there was additional buildup that needed to be cleaned, which increased the cost. They kept my car for an entire week. When I went to pick it up, I was told the total was now $2,400 due to the extra work. The worst part is that after all of this, they told me the real issue was actually the transmission. So after charging me thousands of dollars and keeping my car for a week, the original problem was never properly diagnosed or fixed. This feels extremely unprofessional and misleading. I would not recommend this shop. Be very careful and consider getting a second opinion before agreeing to any major repairs here.
