I normally do not leave negative reviews and especially for a business that I’ve been going to for years. Since moving from downtown phoenix over to the Scottsdale area, I thought I would go to this other location expecting the same friendly experience. But that was not the case. I had an appointment at 11 am for Thursday morning 5/28. I walked in exactly at the time giving me name & time of appointment. Becka Pierce (assistant manager) responds with, “your response isn’t making a whole lot of sense.” I repeated, “my appointment is at 11 and my name is Alexis?” She then says “okaaay…. so what are you in here for?” I told her my car was making a weird noise when I start it and needing a diagnostic. She goes on to keep questioning me “is it your brakes… is your transmission…. Is it your engine??” I then look at her and say “I’m not sure, I’m not a mechanic and anytime I go to my downtown location, they take care of my diagnostics.” She finally says “ok. We’ll take a look.” I sat there for about 30 mins and watched 2 other customers come in. They stated the same information I did when first coming in & she didn’t question their responses? As this location wrapped up the estimate ($800-$1000) I advised I would get all of this work done but at the downtown phoenix location. I’m not sure why I was treated in that way or where her customer service skills were learned, but I most definitely will not be going back to that location even if it means driving out of my way.

The store manager Jason is great. I called ahead to ensure the coupon I wanted to use would work with my specific car and they were quick to answer the phone, verify it, and get me scheduled for the next morning. This location is a block from Starbucks too so you can work at the store or can walk there to work. They quoted an hour for my oil change and had it done faster, and the service report with photos was appreciated on the customer end. It was easy to know what they checked and see photos that they did check items like my filter. Affordable, coupons always on the website, and nice honest staff who didn’t push extra charges. I would recommend & go back!

View on GoogleNothing but positive things to say about all the Sun Devil shops in the valley. I have never felt like I was doing business with vultures here or old carpet baggers. That alone earns five stars from me. Additionally their prices are fair and comparable, often better than other shops. They could run this business out of a tent under a shade tree and I’d still go!
