I don't even know where to start with how incredible Thunderbird Automotive Specialties has been for me and my 2000 Ford Excursion. Over the past several months Tim and his team have tackled two major repairs on my truck. Cady did an outstanding job replacing both exhaust manifolds with upgraded stainless steel units and completely overhauling my AC system from the ground up — compressor, condenser, receiver drier, expansion valves, rear blower motor and resistor, and a full system flush. After years of recurring AC failures at other shops, Cady found the root cause and fixed it right the first time. Then my truck developed a no-start condition that turned out to be one of the most complex electrical diagnoses I've ever seen — a failed PATS transceiver, damaged wiring throughout the column, and ultimately a failed PCM on a 26 year old truck with discontinued parts. Burgess spent weeks methodically working through every component, brought in outside specialists multiple times, and never once gave up. Tim personally managed the entire process, communicated proactively every single step of the way, and never once left me feeling like I was hanging. I always knew where things stood. Throughout everything I felt genuinely taken care of — not just like another repair order. This is the only shop touching my truck from here on out. Five stars doesn't cover it.

The gentlemen who helped me, (Ernie, Matt and one other), were knowledgeable and considerate. The waiting area is very nice and rides to and from my home were provided. My car was repaired in a timely fashion. The cost of the work done was surprisingly low, which made my day! I will be back for my routine vehicle maintenance and any repair work I need. Great experience!

View on GoogleMy family and I have all taken our cars to Thunderbird Auto, and when my parents were alive, they took their cars there too. I find their work to be awesome, fair pricing and they communicate well. Nice lobby, the cars are secure if it vehicle has to stay a few days for the repair. All in all a great place to have your vehicle repaired. They even offer rides home!

They said my truck would be finished before noon and it was ready by 9:15 AM. They weren't pushy on any other service, (which we appreciated), but did let us know about general maintenance that is needed based on milage. They were great about getting my partner a ride home when we dropped the truck off (no charge!). The pricing was reasonable also! We will definitely return for future service.
