S&K Transmission & Diesel Repair

In shop 2 weeks ago. In for wiring harness issues. 3 days doing diagnostics. Finally figured out the problem. Wiring harness was installed. Damaged the plug when installing. Broke locks installing into plug for cpc. A week later in shop in Kingman, Arizona getting harness replaced. Was told at S&K after harness was installed, there was no warranty on the wiring harness only 1 year labor. Total cost from S&K $5600 plus $750 for motel for 6 nights and loss revenue.

I would not recommend this mechanic to anyone. The experience was frustrating from start to finish. There was a consistent lack of honesty, with constantly shifting explanations and excuses whenever issues were raised. What was originally quoted and represented as a 40-hour repair turned into a 5-month project, with no clear accountability for the delays. More concerning was the clear lack of detailed mechanical knowledge when it came time to reassemble the engine after the rebuild. Many components were missing, and others were improperly installed, showing a serious lack of attention to detail and professionalism. An engine rebuild requires precision and expertise, and that was simply not present here. Instead of transparent communication and competent workmanship, I was left dealing with mistakes, delays, and excuses. This cost me additional time, money, and confidence in the vehicle. If you value professionalism, technical competence, and honest service, look elsewhere.

Crooks! Had a turbo go out on me. Along with some other issues. At first they sounded good, like they were going to help. Once I got truck to them the price they quoted me was ridiculous! Tried to charge me 4500 just for the turbo alone. When I found one for 1600 they refused to use it. Said they had to use their dealers. Ended up getting all the work done for half the price at Phoenix truck and trailer repair. They cost me time and money. Ridiculous how these kind of people try to get over on truckers. DO NOT GO HERE!

I have bad experience with them i bought used truck and it was having transmission problem before and the previous owner have rebulit the transmission with them and they give him warranty 1 year after the job done in 11 days i bought it and it began causing issues with it again i have the warranty with me so i contact them and they tell me bring it . I went and tell them what happened with it he directly tell me the warranty it cant be changed under another name and that not true i leave the truck 1week and no one informe me i call many times and no one answer going back and forth to them wasting time to get update and they try to take advantage and make it abig deal to over charge me and then last vist he told me i will call you today and he never did to update me i get so pissed and i went the other day to take the my truck . Additional than that the new mechanic told me that it needs new transmission i dont know what they did supposed. To rebulit the transmission but they did a creapy work 11 days the transmission doesnt work so please be careful and i highly dont recommend this place I dont recommend this place

Absolutely love S&K. I have a motorhome that has dished me a lot of issues the past few months and the guys at the shop have taken very good care of me and done an exceptional job on the motorhome to keep it road worthy for my family. Special thanks to Dave!
