They always treat me well and take good care of my car. I don't trust any other mechanic. I've gone plenty of times for a lot of different reasons; oil changes, transmission fixes, brake changes, AN ENGINE MOUNT REPLACEMENT, and they keep me informed of all the potential and future issues that I'll need to keep an eye on. They also send me emails with this information so they aren't just calling you if they don't currently have your vehicle! I've not found any other shop like this one and will continue to go back to them as long as I am able to.

Tracey, Joel and the techs here are great. Was a 40-year customer of Sun Devil Auto. No more. This summer Sun Devil missed diagnosed our 2010 Sonata which would start and then immediately die. They replaced the fuel pump for $1,500, which did not resolve the issue. Took it back to Sun Devil and they did a throttle body cleaning for another $300 bones that was ineffective. Took it in to Honest 1. Within a couple hours they diagnosed the issue as a failed engine control unit. Once that was replaced the car runs great. Sun Devil also misdiagnosed our 2017 Elantra misfire, replacing the spark plugs for $470 when the problem was the ignition coils. So Sun Devil has ripped us off for $2,270 in unnecessary repairs. Two days ago we had our 2018 Sonata in for oil change and transmission fluid exchange. Dropped it off at 8 and we were picking it up at 10:30. Sun Devil had told us before that they cannot do transmission fluid exchange because the transmission is “sealed.” We know this is BS; Honest 1 had no problem “unsealing” it and replacing the fluid. We have three cars and they are all going to Honest 1 for maintenance. Great service and proper diagnosis the first time and not doing unnecessary work to run up the bill.

Had my Subaru Outback in for an oil change at coupon promotion price of $69.95 ( synthetic) . The informed me that there was some " uneven wear " on my tires and that they were due for balancing. I informed them that the tires had been installed brand new at Costco two days ago. This raises some question as to just how " honest " this business really is. On the plus side they gave me the coupon promotion price even though I didn't have the physical coupon with me. I would still use them for routine services , but might request a second opinion about repairs or services that they recommend in addition to the requested services .

Most importantly to me, Tracy and his team have always showed integrity. They will have honest conversations about what repairs are necessary and which ones can be put off to make costs more palatable.
