Brake Masters #205

Great, fast, above and beyond service. Bruce is a very stand up guy that cares about the people. We were on a 1400+ mile drive with kids and dogs. About 500 miles in, just coming out of Flagstaff, when the blower motor went out for the A.C. 80+ degree heat and no air-conditioning. I pulled into the parking lot and talked with 2 different mechanics shops in the area. One said they'd charge $120 just to look at it, didn't seam very confident on even figuring out the problem, said it would take them a few hours to diagnose and then wouldn't fix it that day. Then I talked with Bruce at Brake Masters. He had a pretty good idea what the issue was just by describing to him what it was doing. He got the car in fast, had it diagnosed very quickly, called around and found the part. Got the part in and fixed on a Saturday afternoon at the end of the day. He said they'd make sure to stay and get it done for us and they did. The price to get it done was very reasonable.

I received exceptional service from everyone involved. I was promptly greeted and the vehicle was immediately checked in. I received a call with the expected charges before work began. The service work was of top quality with absolutely no residue left by the technician. A call was received when the job was done. I highly recommend this service facility and thank them profusely.

Definitely got played. Went in for an oil change which took an hour and a half, came back and they gave me an inspection report I did not ask for with a ton of “hazardous needs” I’m 7 months pregnant so hearing someone say that if I don’t get X done my car will break down on the side of the road scared me. After $670 I went home and called the Toyota dealership I usually take my car to. I asked for a report on what was done at the 100,000 mile mark and what the upcoming suggested maintenance would be. I was told that we had already done a ton of work at our last appointment and there wasn’t a lot of suggestions for future appointments, the car is in good condition. Just another corporation taking advantage of people when the economy is really horrible.

I went to Brake Masters because of an oil leak. They found the problem very quickly and told me what needed to be done to fix it. This was at 11:50 am. I asked how long it would take. The guy who seemed in charged said 2 1/2 hours so I figured 3 at most. I could see my van and after over a half hour of nobody doing anything I asked how much longer. I was informed by the guy behind the counter that the guy working on my van was bouncing between 3 vehicles. Who does that!!!! I reminded him that I was told 2 1/2 hours to do the job and also reminded him that I needed to be out of there by 4. I have gone to this Brake Masters about a year and half ago and had great service. This time very poor service I would not recommend anyone to them. The mechanic working on my van spent more time wondering around. The guy who told me 2 1/2 didn’t even do anything to help the situation until 3:45. Very disappointed.

Brake Masters in Anthem was great! The service was outstanding. They honored the appointment time and had the service completed quickly. I definitely recommend them.
