Big Brand Tire & Service

Shop used channel locks to rotate the tie rod and gouged the brand new powder coat down to the metal all the way around the entire tie rod. Brand new $625 high end tie rod looks terrible after Big brand’s alignment. I was told they can’t do anything about it. Extremely disappointed, you should think twice if you want this quality on your own vehicles.

Thank you to Skylen and his team for getting me in when another place confirmed and then cancelled my appointment this morning for an oil change! They got me in and out in less than an hour at Big Brand! Skylen was so nice and friendly and willing to help me this morning even though they were probably busy because of the long weekend ahead. Thanks to him and the team there for their work. They also pushed some plastic pieces back into my car to fix something that was broken which was amazing and no one else would have done without charging me an arm and a leg for it! Thanks again!

Took my car into a different auto service for tire rotation, oil change and inspection. Recommended $2399.36 plus tax to replace control arms. A nail in tire was not dicussed. Took to Big Brand who suggested replace ball joint only. Saving over $1000. Repaired nail in tire. Found a rat nest under engine cover. Mark is very professional and very knowledgeable. Big Brand Tire and Service is my go to for automotive service in Anthem, AZ.

I took my 2021 Volkswagen ID.4 in last week because the AC was not blowing cold air. I took it in the morning around 10am and left it there until they called about 2pm to tell me they tried recharging it with Freeon, but it needs a software update and then it will work fine. I called Volkswagen and they told me I can do the software update myself, which I did in about 5 minutes. After that, the AC was still not working so I took it back the next morning. They told me it needs a new compressor, but it wouldn't be here until next Wednesday. So, after waiting 5 days I took it back yesterday morning. I called for an update about 2pm. They told me the compressor arrived about a half hour ago and the technician was already working on it. I asked him if he thought it would be done before they closed because I needed it for work the next morning. He said yes. I did not hear from them again, so I called at 5:45pm (they close at 6pm) for an update. He said the technician that was working on it went home, but told me the AC was still not working after installing the new compressor. He also told me the vehicle needed another software update. ??? Now, I am really worried about my car not getting fixed correctly and/or having other issues. I will update this review after they are finished with my vehicle. Oh, I took my vehicle here because I just bought it from Carvana 3 weeks ago and they offer a 100 day warranty. Big Brand was one of the companies recommended in their network. I did get my vehicle back yesterday. It ended up having to go to the VW dealership to get reprogrammed after the new compressor was put in. Big Brand did a terrific job with this process, as they scheduled the appointment for that day, delivered and picked up the vehicle from the dealership. It did have to stay overnight though, as the dealership was fairly busy. In conclusion, I was fairly happy how everything turned out, although my vehicle was unavailable for 3 1/2 days. I also felt communication could have been a little better, as I had to call a couple times for an update. It is already hard enough to find a good mechanic, but be especially careful if your vehicle is electric! All and all, Big Brand did take care of me though, so I did bump the the rating to 4 stars.

Top notch fast service at a good price! Traveling through, and had trailer tire problems near closing time. These guys cranked it out, got us back going for a fair price. Very happy customer.
