Maaannn.. got Steve's info from a referral as a "good honest Christian". So I went there. Needed a motor mount on my 2020 Escalade, driver side. He literally just did my buddy's 2021 Escalade. Same thing and was told 21 year is harder and has completely different structural and clearance area. Steve told me Friday a week prior that the next Friday would be good time and would be half days worth of work. Which is what he did with my buddy's. Friday as soon as they open I'm there and dropped it off. I went to the lake with my family and around two or 3 PM. I give him a call just to catch up and see what's the ETA. He kinda has an attitude and tells me that it's taking a lot longer and more intensive. I said OK fine, understandable I guess. He calls me at 5:38 PM after hours because they close at 5:30 PM and tells me they will not have it done and it will not be done until Monday. This ruined my whole weekend for Father's Day and of course Church on Sunday! Definitely not getting any more of my business personal or work truck.

I stumbled upon Anthem Automotive in dire need of help with my car after my previous trusted mechanic left his shop and I began getting overcharged and ran around. Steve was more than amazing. He was fast and efficient and more than reasonable. I’m so delighted to have found my new mechanic and would recommend him to ANYONE!

This is the best repair shop, always friendly and excellent service at a great price,and most importantly a trustworthy mechanic. Can't recommend these folks enough!

I’m not sure what happened with Steve in my interaction with Anthem Automotive. I had an appointment to drop off a vehicle for service on June 8th. About a week later, since this shop is very close to my business, I stopped and asked Steve what is the status of the diagnostic or repair of my vehicle. I was told that they are working on it. Another time when I stopped by, I was told that they ordered some relay for it... The vehicle was parked outside the whole time. During this time, Steve never contacted me with any updates regarding diagnostic or parts to be paid or anything at all! Steve knew I have a client for the vehicle once it is fixed, since on June 11th, I was there with my customer from San Diego to show the vehicle. On July 16th, after more than 5 (five) weeks, I went to Anthem Automotive and told Steve that I would like to pick up the vehicle since there was absolutely no activity or updates regarding the repair. He gave me the keys and told me that they are busy. During these 5 weeks, I never received a call or email regarding an invoice for diagnostic or parts ordered that I have to pay. I guess they never inspected the vehicle. The vehicle was parked on a public street for weeks. I am glad nothing bad happened to my vehicle. It appears that nothing was done to the vehicle by Anthem Automotive… In my experience of more than 13 years, I never had a similar situation. It is not professional to check in the vehicle of your customer and just do nothing regarding servicing it. At least tell the customer that you can’t fix it or you are to busy or something and ask the customer to pick it up. But just to waste customer's time, it’s just not nice or professional. Time is so precious! Now I have to contact my customer and explain this mess...

The owner said he was an honest business but he turned out to be the opposite his secretary and himself told me if I pay for a diagnostic test and later he does the work on the car he would deduct the 150 dollar diagnostic fee. In my case I asked to do the diagnostic due to my transmission having issues but he took it upon himself to replace oxygen sensor and charged me for fixing sensor and diagnostic. Transmission issue never even looked at. Real bad experience. So today I finished paying Steve off for supposedly work done on my truck he says he doesn't charge a diagnostic fee if he does the work he did the work. Supposedly replace oxygen sensor that cost 123.00 but when I dropped truck off there was no check engine light on so dont know how he knew to replace sensor. I see Steve just about everyday because I park my trailer in a storage yard right behind his business and he has trucks and cars that have been parked out in front of his business and street for months never could figure out why, now I know. I'm sorry for putting him out there like that but he's a bad man for business. I went with to his shop because how close he was but what a big mistake that turned out to be. Never again and I hope people who read the reviews think twice because this isn't fake im so upset how he felt charge what he wanted and I had to pay to get my truck back. He'll probably reply saying they have no records of my truck.
