AAA Phoenix Camelback Auto Repair Center

Unfortunately, the service (both repair and human interaction) was horrendous. Our vehicle was there for over two weeks and stopped starting a couple of weeks after their "repairs." Dan, the service advisor, was hostile and incredibly non responsive. The vehicle, a 2016 Buick Verano is now at the dealer and these are their exact words as they do a diagnostic, "it's a little bit weird. I know you had said AAA did some repairs, including wiring. What they actually did what they did was route a wire from the battery directly to the ECM and that may have fried the main computer. They shouldn't have done that because it can allow too much voltage and burn up the computer. There is a fuse in the middle it should go through to avoid that." Dan, your shop caused damage that was non exisistent when we had it towed by AAA to you; additionally, I backup camera worked properly before entering your shop. You verbally said, "we'll take care of it" and then told us, "you need to go to the dealer because we didn't do it it was probably electrical" when we were in-person. I'd like for you and your shop to take accountability and make this situation right? What did we pay you for if the car stopped running again a couple of weeks later and your non-standard work and incorrect wiring potentially caused more damage? Update: I emailed the address you put in your since deleted response to this post, and have not received a response. I am adding the pictures the dealer sent of your dangerous and non-standard work as well. That wire with the zip tie you put on it isn't supposed to be there and bypassed safety measures per the dealer. I expect a response.

Had my vehicle repaired at AAA Phoenix Camelback and I must say they are good and efficient. Barry my service writer was outstanding in explaining my options and prices. He was also through on other items my vehicle would be needing fairly soon. Everything was handled very professionally and I was kept in the loop the entire time. There were no surprises and the service was impeccable. When the other items have to be taken care of I will certainly be bringing my vehicle back and having Barry handle the whole thing. Thank you AAA for your professionalism and excellent staff.

Absolutely garbage!!! Friday I had my Sportage SX Turbo towed to AAA Service department on Camelback, figured I would give them a chance since I’ve been a member for over 10 years. Well I called them on Saturday afternoon, why??? I explained to them the issue of car not accelerating properly. After paying $559 with $314 for labor i left with NOTHING FIXED. With $179 diagnostic’s fee I should been told that i need to talk to the dealership about replacing the turbo or catalytic converters but, needless to say they were not able to fix my problem or diagnose the issue. I had to go somewhere else for EXPERT ADVICE on how to get this fixed. Don’t Go to AAA for Service only get a tow! That’s it!!! AAA should get out of the Automobile REPAIR BUSINESS and stick to Towing…
