Daniel’s Total Car Care Daniel’s is a friendly Mom & Pop auto shop that does a bit of everything. It’s not uncommon to find a few Good Ole Boys sitting in the waiting area talking shop. I’ve taken our Honda Civic and Jeep Wrangler there and received good work at a fair price. But as the proprietor started making fewer appearances over the last year the vibe and responsiveness seemed to change. Service periods became longer, and the work became shoddier. On my last visit I had the spark plug cables replaced on my Jeep. When I picked it up it immediately began to misfire, but since it was closing time on a Friday just before a holiday weekend, I had no choice but to drive it home. After less than a mile it the missing became so severe that feared I wasn’t going to make it. When I was able to get another appointment a week later, I was told I needed to replace the spark plugs even though I had no indication of that before the cable replacement. When asking how the tech had missed the significant misfires during his test drive after installing the cables, I got more than a bit of attitude from the staff. Attempting to ascertain why a vehicle displayed more problems after a repairs than before was a reasonable question from a loyal customer, but their unwillingness to provide an answer ultimately led me to seek another auto shop. This was disappointing. Daniel’s is conveniently located and my experiences there in previous years had been good. I still have neighbors who swear by this auto shop and my recent negative experience should not deter you from giving them a try. But, if at all possible, I suggest that you deal with Daniel directly. Good luck.

We had such a great experience here during a stressful moment. We suddenly got a flat tire from a nail while I had my three kids with me, and I was honestly bracing for a long, difficult visit. But Daniel completely turned things around for us. He was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding of our situation. He got us in right away and had us back on the road so quickly—it made a huge difference, especially with kids in tow. It’s rare to find that level of efficiency paired with genuine care. You can tell he really values his customers and goes the extra mile to make sure they feel taken care of. I’m so grateful for the help and would absolutely recommend this shop to anyone needing reliable, compassionate service.

Daniel was so incredibly knowledgeable and kind, I'll only be going here from now on. I knew I needed my brakes looked at before a trip, and they were so comprehensive in checking EVERYTHING to make sure that I would be good for the trip. No nonsense with trying to upsell me, he was very straightforward and honest with what was on the car already, and I feel confident and pleased with my car after. I recommend him a thousand times over, best mechanics in the West valley!

I went to a guy down the street and was going to charge me $1200 because my car wouldn’t start and never figured out what was wrong but charged me a diagnostic fee anyway. I took it to Daniel’s Total Car Care and he figured out the problem and fixed my car for so much less. The owner, Daniel, was just a cool, stand up guy. I would recommend this place to everyone!!!!
