AAA Goodyear Auto Repair replaced our 2006 Monte Carlo rear suspension. I dropped it off in the AM and it was ready by 1pm as promised. They did an excellent alignment too that was also part of the entire job. I had priced this work at other shops and they were very competitive. I truly appreciate the customer service I received especially from Dennis who handled the transaction and Matt the manager who had actually given me a quote on the same job in July of 2025. He had saved all the information making the transaction seamless with a small adjustment in price since it had been almost a year. I plan on having the front suspension replaced as well and will be calling on the team at AAA Goodyear to do the work. AAA provides a multitude of excellent services. Their DMV assistance is an absolute must if you need to transfer the title to your vehicle, the Emergency Towing Service via the AAA App is fabulous, and you could not find a nicer bunch of guys than those in the AAA Auto Repair Center in Goodyear, AZ. They’re friendly, accommodating and communicate promptly. Scheduling an appointment is easy and hassle-free. It’s a true joy dealing with them. This is undoubtedly a First Class operation. However, while this branch is fine for basic services like oil changes, tire rotations, and the like, I’m hesitant to recommend them for any complicated automotive repairs or diagnostics. I took my Jeep there for a persistent issue, and after four visits and significant expense, the problem remained unsolved. They have a tendency to throw parts at problems rather than accurately diagnose the source of an issue, despite charging high market diagnostic fees. One of my repairs was left unfinished and the vehicle had to be returned for the job to be completed. They comped me a free oil change and OEM gas cap after the mishap, but considering I’d spent nearly $4,000 in only a few months, it seemed appropriate. One more positive note. While it’s not uncommon to be required to leave your vehicle for a week or more at some shops, AAA gets you in and out faster than any shop I’ve used in recent memory. When you’re dealing with an Every Day Vehicle, alacrity is worth a great deal.

I broke down on the side of the road with multiple check engine warnings and had my car towed to this shop. From the start, their “diagnosis” felt more like guesswork than expertise. I was told I needed a new engine control module and that they were 99% sure it would fix the issue. $1,600 later, not only was the problem unresolved, but the same warning lights kept coming back. Over the next two weeks, I made repeated trips back while they continued to poke around without any real answers. Each visit ended the same way: no solution, no accountability—just more speculation. Eventually, they floated yet another guess, suggesting it might be a faulty water pump. At that point, I’d had enough. I had the car towed to the dealership, where the issue was correctly diagnosed within an hour as a faulty thermo control valve—and fully repaired shortly after. This shop cost me time, money, and a great deal of frustration, all because they couldn’t properly diagnose a problem that the dealership handled quickly and competently. At best, this is a place for basic maintenance like oil or air filter changes. For anything more complex, they are completely out of their depth. Save yourself the headache—take your car somewhere that actually knows what they’re doing.

Alert $$$ Alert $$$ Alert $$$. Had my car towed to this location at 15578 W. McDowell Road. I've been a AAA member for over 14yrs now. I had car towed to this AAA Auto Repair Shop, after breaking down on freeway. You have to put car key in Envelope when you get to location with your car, and write in the comments what's possible wrong with your vehicle( events that lead up to car breaking down). I wrote in the comments, battery light came on then check engine light came on shortly afterwards. I took vehicle to Firestone the day prior, they diagnosed battery voltage said it was low needs charged. But won't be able to charge by driving vehicle, needs charged by a charger they wrote in there diagnostic comments. Took to AutoZone to see if there diagnostic reader was reading the same. AutoZone's read battery was good. Left AutoZone, suddenly battery light went off then check Engine light went off thought i was out of the woods. Drove car for a little bit to make sure lights didn't come back on. Well battery and check engine light did come back on simultaneously from one another some time later. Car was towed to AAA, they charged roughly around $200 for diagnostic check. How do AAA not check the battery out first? AAA did diagnostic, they said I have a computer box issue. I asked was the battery checked out? Guy told me no it wasn't. Had my car towed from this location the next day, to a different repair shop I've dealt with in the past. They check my car out diagnostic that is, they call me up and said i need to replace the battery it's completely dead after they put it on charger. After that, they said alternator also needs replaced. After both of those was replaced, they told me to come get my car it is ready. Car has run fine since. So AAA was going to charge me to get a Computer box, then charge me to program plus Labor. When that wasn't the issue at all. After getting a computer box i didnt need, I still would've needed a battery and alternator. Wow!!! Wow!!! Wow!!! $$$$$$$$ would've been wasted if my car stayed at AAA auto Repair.

Although not a AAA member, I was definitely treated like one. Best service and price I've had for an oil change for years!
