Superb, friendly, professional, honest & time-efficient are just a few of the many positive qualities of Tukwila Auto Repair. I went to them yesterday with a bad alternator and they had me back on the road in less than 2 hours. The owner himself called me, precisely estimated (very reasonable) expense and could not have been friendlier. I found my new “go to” auto repair shop—it’s Tukwila Auto Repair.
View on GoogleFast and affordable. My wife and kids and I were on our way to Mt Rainier to start our Memorial Day weekend getaway and started having serious engine problems. After taking it to Napa to run the codes and discovering several bad spark plugs (or engine coil), I took it to the nearest auto mechanic hoping we could at least get the work done the same day and still do most of our weekend trip. They went above and beyond expectations by completing the work on the fly within 90 minutes and the total cost was relatively cheap or reasonable, especially with the last minute ASAP request. I think they deserve a 5 star review. Thank you!
View on Googlejust went here recently for a complicated issue i was having that and i could not figure out what the cause was. i told the mechanic here everything that was happening and he said he’ll take a look. left the car overnight and came back and said he figured out the issue however it would cost 1000$ to fix it. i know fixing a car isn’t cheap, however 1000 felt ridiculous and he never really explained what the issue was. i told him i would think about it and left. i wanted to get a second opinion so i went to a another mechanic shop and told him the same story and left it overnight. turns out it was a simple starter issue and charged me 300$ and the car has worked with no issues ever since. i can’t believe i would have spent 1000$ for stuff that wouldn’t have even fixed my car in the first place as he never said the starter could be the issue. i see this place has good reviews and maybe he’s a good mechanic when handling basic fixes, however i would not recommend this place for complicated fixes if you don’t know exactly what is wrong with the car.
