West Werks European Service and Repair

Honestly, I havent made an appointment yet, but seeing the detailed responses from management to those that had false narratives is making me want to. Ill update when i get my transmission repaired. Side note: i never understood why people dont post what their expenses were, and for what, so ill be doin that too especially if i have any other serious repairs (i do 80% of the work on my mini sans anything that requires lifting things out of the bay) Update 1. They have been very responsive, i dropped my car off the day before the appointment, Which was june 16th, And everything went smoothly. I was quoted around 420$ for transmission service on my 2015 mini cooper. I made sure to ask for pictures/videos. They are also letting me keep the car there while im out of state and theyre workin on the car. Phenomenal customer service so far 🫶 Update 2. I specifically asked for photos and/or videos of the work they were doing. I have received none. Is there shavings in the fluid? Are the gears abnormally worn? I wouldnt know bc theres no photos. They did NOT communicate at all over the course of 6 days, until i had to message Matt about an update. He tells me the engine torque mount needs replaced bc of vibration, okay good catch, but is the mount broken? Or is it just loose? He quoted me 170$ for the replacement. I pick up the car on june 25th. This is VERY FAIR pricing so i can give leeway on less talkin while theyre doin all the workin. Matt ended up sending me the photos after i asked again and clarified he had planned to show me when i got there to pick up.-its not his issue, though ive had service repairs go south when i didnt have consistent updates. Last update: yall, how this man gonna do transmission repair and my radio is working better?! And they cleaned the front seat mats. Total was 584ish and the mini is running smooth. Absolutely coming back, and i suggest you do too Bringing my friends MDX, ill keep yal updated

I've been going to West Werks for several years; they look after my whole family's cars, both European and Japanese, and I've always been pleased by the level of service I receive. Matt and his guys are courteous and professional. They'll quickly diagnose any issues, carefully explain any problems that need to be fixed, and give you a reasonable estimate. The final price has always been in line, with no "unexpected" costs tacked on. There's always a certain amount of trust that needs to be established with any service provider, whether it's a contractor, plumber, lawyer, or mechanic... it's just a byproduct of the specialized knowledge that the average person doesn't have and therefore we as the consumer are relying on the other party being fair and honest. Thankfully, Matt and West Werks work diligently to build and foster that trust, which is why I continue to recommend them and bring my cars here.

I had used them for several years to fix a Chevy Traverse that was non stop issues. They were the only shop I felt really good about with knowledge and quality of work. I got rid of the traverse and haven’t needed a mechanic since. Till today when my young niece visiting had a light come on. I stopped in and they helped her even though they didn’t have to. Super appreciate the kindness to make sure my niece could get home safely.

The team at West Werks are always thourough with their work. Highly skilled and highly dependable they have always delivered quality service when car troubles arose for me. Matt is also kind going in depth into how the process goes from getting my car back to good condition. I would highly recommend West Werks to Mini drivers in Redmond who are looking to get repairs done.

These guys are unbelievably great. Whenever I find a tradesman (contractor, plumber, auto tech, etc.) that I trust, I stick with them closely. These guys diagnose and fix things, and don't just swap out parts hoping it'll fox the problem. They've handled some oddball issues with my turbocharged Miata and have kept my e39 BMW running great for 140K miles. They'll let me know if something is a problem, and even better, let me know if it's not. I trust them completely and they're very fairly priced. If your car is out of warranty and you want to be sure a job will be done right, I see no reason to choose a dealership over West Werks.
