Dan at Mac's Truck Repair will tell you he is going to stand behind his work and fix your truck or buy your truck if he can not fix it. This is what he said to me. Mark was the office manager at the time witnessing this in the office at the time Dan spoke these words. Mac's was to fix my sputtering International 4300. I had used their service multiple times before. Dan did the repairs and said it is not running, but may smooth out after driving it a while. Well is couple days later after the truck would not run correctly my company brought it back and forth more than 6 times over an 8 month period. Mac's Truck Repair continued to try to fix the problem and in the end was unable to diagnose the fix it. According to Dan they tore the engine down and back together 3 times. Dan-Mac's Truck Repair, charged me over $25,000, plus all the time loss and production costs my company incurred. Dan told me he could not fix it and had given up. He had his towing company tow it back to my yard and left it. No offer to buy truck and no standing behind his work. He went on crying like it was my fault that he had over $30,000 extra time spent attempting to fix it. Dan told me too bad, I lost more money than you did trying to fix it. I then said to Dan "I could have put a new engine in it for cheaper." Dan made the statement that "Even if we put a new engine in it, we could not promise that it would run correctly." WT? I have spoke to multiple companies to hear this is not the first time they have heard this from Mac's Truck Repair and had to repair what they could not. Dan is not trustworthy for honest.

I’ve had my 2002 GMC Sierra 2500 HD Diesel truck in for service at Mac’s (Eastside Truck Repair) several times for major work in the last 2 years: Four new fuel lines, front end suspension (two separate occasions), and shock absorbers. These guys are straight shooters and they consistently do great work. Ken is always available to answer questions and address concerns. It is rare to find anybody in this industry who does solid work consistently at fair prices. I highly recommend this shop for your truck repairs and service.
