Excellent communication and service. They rebuilt my transmission quickly at a fair price. When I had an issue, they looked into it and found the transmission was fine. It was a separate issue which they fixed and still didn't charge me even though it was only my transmission under warranty. All around great place, highly recommend!

I wasn’t sure where to go, dealership asked me to wait a month and it was such a costly repair. I’m so glad I went to Lakewood transmission!!! They were so helpful and compassionate to help me deal with this unexpected situation. I was helped by Kyle and Tammy and both were amazing. Very kind and highly competent. I received the best possible service I could ever get and at a reasonable price. I was so happy with their service that I brought my second car also for routine oil change and other maintenance. And going forward I plan to bring both my cars here for all service and maintenance needs. Kind, courteous, and very professional, and always kept the best interests of client and helped me save where they thought I could. I highly recommend them.
View on GoogleI am submitting this review regarding my recent experience with Lakewood Transmission. I visited their shop with my 1998 Toyota Tacoma SR5 to address an unusual sound occurring when the truck was in gear. The staff scheduled a convenient time for me to drop off the vehicle. Approximately a year prior, Lakewood Transmission had installed a new transmission in my truck, so they were also concerned about the noise I described. Although it took around four weeks to diagnose and resolve the issue—primarily due to circumstances outside of their control—they ultimately determined that a new crankshaft seal was required. After installation, the truck performed as well as it did at 160,000 miles. The final cost was approximately 20% of what I had anticipated. I highly recommend Lakewood Transmission based on this experience. Thank you so much, Terry R.
