Fircrest Automotive & Repair

I had a u joint that needed to be replaced on my vehicle and I was told it would be $500 by Fircrest Automotive & Repair. I went to another place and they charged me $170. I also was told by Fircrest Automotive & Repair that I need a new rear differential. The mechanic told me that I had metal shaving in my differential fluid and that is would be $600 for the labor and the owner said it would be $920 for the labor. Come to find out when I took it to Jiffy Lube the same day they said my differential oil looked great and had no metal shavings in it. I guess business is slow right now for them.

Well 5 stars is not saying enough for this shop. I’m a woman @ 60 who’s had my share of mechanics, professional and back yard ones. I’ve had bad experiences with both many many times. I was looking online for a new mechanic and knew this was going to be a long journey finding somebody honest and decent pricing. I met Rob (years ago now) after reading the reviews and doing some research and chatting on the phone. God sent me an angel! I totally trust him and his work. It’s so refreshing!! He has become my friend and funny thing, he lives walking distance, haaa we are neighbors. He has worked on 3 of my cars thru the years and my daughters and friends too. I wanted to show some appreciation for his kindness and work. So asked him to join my family and friends for a bbq. He’s even nicer when he’s not working! That does not get me discounts people. But if I ask him to “drive my new car around the block and tell me what you think” that’s a big deal for me because I trust his opinion cause he’s never been wrong and will tell me if it’s something he can’t do. So feel safe and confident when you take your car to Fircrest Automotive and ask for Rob!

Ran over some road debris on the freeway and beat up my splash shield and needed a quick fix as it was dragging along the road. Googled this shop and they had me back in working order within 10 minutes. Highly recommend. No nonsense and straight forward.

Very skilled and knowledgeable, expedient service, very reasonable pricing, reliable, and great customer service. Came in for significant repairs on my daily driver. Eric & Rob worked with me to accommodate my schedule since the repairs would leave me without a vehicle for a few days. Eric gave me a ride home and even picked me up! I had several quotes for these repairs and Fircrest Automotive was by far the best one. I feel safe as a woman doing business here and feel like I am treated fairly and honestly. This will be my regular automotive shop since they can perform all types of repair and diagnostics. 10/10 would recommend.

Eric, the owner, is a man of high standards and exceptional compassion. This became known immediately upon meeting him after dealing with another repair shop for almost a month because they did not make the repairs they claimed to have done. Out of concern for my safety, considering the car shut off, lost the ability to brake and had to be towed back to the previous shop several times, it was quite apparent to go to another repair shop. I wasn’t comfortable at attempting to drive the car to Eric’s shop. Out of concern for my wellbeing Eric sent Rob, one of his employees, to meet me and drive the car to his shop. I couldn’t believe this kind of concern and customer service was happening. Thankfully Rob made it to Eric’s shop without any problems. Immediately upon arrival Eric reviewed the pages of repairs from the other shop and upon inspection realized the repairs weren’t performed. He did find multiple deficiencies and countless others once he began working on the car. The very basics, such as the fluids were all low for starters. Without a doubt I’ll be taking all of my vehicles to Eric’s shop in the future because he cares about the vehicles he repairs as if they’re his own. As a result I hold him in high regard.
