Well am I happy I found these guys! I’ve been on a hunt the last two days to find a specific 48re pump crush washer, after visiting a handful of local stores I finally ended at Transtar . Although I had little confidence walking in, I quickly realized this may be different. The gentleman behind the counter stopped what he was doing and approached me right away, unlike the other places that seem annoyed you came in. Aften was his name, he quickly found the crush washer I needed, he also took some time to explain what their establishment does. I am a DIY guy and knowing there’s a transmission parts shop that actually wants my business truly felt nice. I came in for a .99 cent part and was treated with respect. This is exactly how a business should be run. I’ll be going back for anything else I need for sure. Give these guys 10 stars.

Last week I bought 8L90 drum from this company, yesterday I looked at the drum is used so I said it would be better to replace the Oring seals before I but everything back together. I discovered the drum is broken I call the salesperson he said take pics and send so I did after a few hours reaches out to me and said we can't warranty the drum. The sales said maybe dropped or from the box when I picked up was in plastic bag and two of their workers saw that drum was in just plastic bag. I called the salesperson many times and he doesn't want to pick up the phone he confirms the parts use from CA and shipped to them. He gives me phone number of warehouse manager to call him I did call him many times and left message and he didn't get back to me. I bought the parts for $490. I want to Seaview in Lynnwood I order the part for $271.02. I been customer with this company for almost 3 years I never had issue and never looked to their review. I saw many people having issue with company because they don't owner their parts.
View on GoogleI am on my 4th defective transmission from this company in less than 2 years. The first one was bad even before the mechanic gave me the vehicle back. The second lasted just over a year and the third was changed less than 3 weeks ago and is already bad. Now I am stuck with no vehicle for almost 3 months. No one at Transtar wants to take responsibility and I just keep getting the run around. I continue to have to pay the difference in what Transtar "warranties" for labor vs what a shop charges. Transtar needs to make this right and immediately fix this situation. edit: my claim number is 109825
View on GoogleWhen we order they talk big and when there parts failed or damaged they stop answering the phone however there is many other companies but we chose you for the legacy its shame those new employees ruing the name of this company your part price was double up the dealership price. Transtar have 0 star for there treatment of other businesses
