3 different customer purchased engines in a row blown before 10k miles. They would not warranty them for any of the customers. Engines had cracks and pitting on ALL the heads, blow by on 2 of the engines, and the other engine had no blow by because the pistons welded themselves to the block. Sealed up great 😉. NEVER BUY A JASPER ENGINE. For gassers buy Blueprint or have a shop reman one.
View on GoogleThe rep I spoke to on the phone was cordial. I told him I thought I called a local shop. He said there was no cost for shipping with Jasper. The price of the motor was $1800. That was for a small block 350!! Do your comparison shopping.

View on GoogleProbably should've called, but I was disappointed checking your inventory online and couldn't find the Ford Lima engine I was hoping to find. Was my last chance to possibly rebuild this cursed Mazda but I've decided to scrap it. Jasper is renown across the country. Even from NY i'd heard of you. But unfortunately for me I moved to WA, got stuck with the worst service dept in the world with my newer then car, only to have them slowly kill my car, death by 1000 cuts style basically. Or a 1000 metal shards actually. Hope I never get the opportunity to look you guys up again. Or if do, I hope it's BEFORE I spent thousands on a lost cause. And teach myself automotive and advanced troubleshooting... All to convince myself im not crazy :) pre-ignition and failed VVT intake Camshaft on a car that could've had TSB done but no CEL means zoom zoom boom up north ! Later!
View on GoogleThe only reason for a 3 star was because they did have the engine i was looking for. So good availabilty. The not so good part of it was the price tag on the engine i was quoted for. Over $$$$19k for a 2005 diesel engine on a Ford 6.0. Ouch.. thats alot of money for an engine. At that point i would put $20k on a newer truck and finance the rest😅
