My Ford F150 was jerking and down, shifting bad and sometimes wouldn’t go into a reverse so I went onto ChatGPT and ask what could be the problem and it said 90%. It was the valve body so I went to get it Diagnosed at General transmission and they told me no way the valve body will fix the problems and they quoted me $3500 to open up the transmission and start digging and seeing what needs to be rebuilt and parts cost are unknown and can’t give me a estimate but more than $3000. After he explained all of this to me, he didn’t let me speak and just told me we can open up the transmission right now and start digging into it and wanted me to pay for it on the phone not even giving me a chance to think about it. After thinking about it, I took the truck to another Shop and they recommending just giving the valve body a shot since we’re building. A whole transmission will cost $6500. So I paid $500 for labor and $1000 for the part in my truck works perfectly fine so they tried rebuilding my whole transmission because of a $500 part that took a couple hours to replace. That being that I don’t doubt they have experience in what they do and they are probably good at what they do but that miss diagnostic almost costed me $6500. They are nice people and pleasant to talk to but wish they were more certain in Diagnosing

Mark and his beautiful wife have rebuilt 2 transmissions for me. I cannot recommend Mark with any thing but high praise. He uses quality parts and his jobs last. The transmission in my F350 was good for 10+ years until it was totalled. My Jeep transmission has been good for over a year. My daughter needs transmission work and we will take it to General Transmission. Thanks, Ben

I knew it was just a shift solenoid and good flush is what it needed. Well Mark took my transmission out, showed me the problem and gave me a choice of repair or rebuild. My budget said repair and thats what he did. Super honest, super fair, super knowledgeable and saved me thousands...im a customer for life...thanks Mark. No other shop would have done that for me...
