Edit: I took it to another shop to inspect (2 days after) the work performed on this vehicle, both clamps on my radiator hose was loose causing a coolant leak and it to run hot. Not saying it was them just saying I had both installed less than a year ago with out any leaks or issues. Don't listen to the five star reviews. I was left without a car or loaner when I had to see my dying grandmother. I have taken my 1994 Lexus ls400 here a couple of times but this is the last. I had a leaky caliper on the left driver side (diagnosed by another shop) and took it in because it was still under warranty. I understand my car is hard to find new parts for and is getting up their in age, this was never an issue; its something I understood heading into every repair. I dont expect the same kind of turn around with a newer car. I made an appointment for Wednesday morning (after not being able to make it in on another day). I dropped it off early in the morning before work, I expected it to be started that day. Instead they called me Thursday. Asking what needed to be done with it, even though I'm sure I explained the situation over the phone. I was told it would be ready by the end of day that day and i woupd be given a call, which I did not believe given the age/ condition of my vehicle. Friday (2.27.26) rolls around and I call around 10:30am and ask about the repairs on my vehicle, Andrew told me it would be ready by the end of day and he would call me. I called again at 3:55pm just before I got off work and an hour before they closed asking about my car, and possibly if I could get a loaner as I had to travel to see my grandmother. The woman who picked up for the last call was courteous, no issues there. She said that she would check on "where they were with it " and i was put on hold (not an issue). Andrew picked up after a couple minutes because he overheard. He explained again that parts were hard to find and they had to rebuild my calipers which is labor intensive, which is understandable. And would have been nice to know a day earlier so that I could actually plan to rent a car, ask for a loaner, or another form of transport. I was told that they dont have one currently and that there might be one by the end of day. 20 minutes before close I receive the text "Hey Kaden! I wont have a loaner available today. We should have your vehicle completed on Monday. Thank you for your patience." I thought there was something fishy about this, so I walked down there. Where i saw they did infact have a loaner! it was still parked in the spot I saw it in last during drop off on Wednesday morning. This sent me researching their other reviews which list some of the same problems I've had previously at this shop. There are several 1 star reviews which are rather negative, but strangely there are 5 star reviews that seem to exactly counter them, funny.

Brought my truck in for intake manifold actuators and they did a great job! They fixed it up real quick! They cleaned the truck up and got it back to me better than before!

Huge shout-out to the team at Central Auto. Came in for a clutch replacement, and not only did it take only 2 days, but my good ol' Saturn Astra shifts so much more smoothly now. Special shout-out to Greg, who provided awesome customer service and personable conversation, answering all my questions with professionalism, and I appreciate the insight he had. I also really appreciate the consistent updates on how everything is going. Gives a customer real peace of mind! The complimentary wash was nice too! Thanks for keeping me on the road y'all! I'll be back when she needs another service 😊

Needed a battery installed immediately. It was almost closing time and Andrew was able to squeeze me in. They even took time to check the brakes and all the systems. I have old car. Appreciated the extra checking. Was very happy when I went there the first time, and they continue to be great. Thanks guys. That must be why you are so busy all the time.

I felt completely misled from start to finish. I brought my car in because the A/C was blowing warm air and was initially quoted around $350. Later, I was told the cost had increased to $750, and nobody could provide a clear or convincing explanation for the difference. When I asked to be shown exactly what was wrong with my vehicle, I received vague answers instead of clear evidence or documentation. A trustworthy mechanic should be able to explain the problem, show the failed component, and justify the repair costs. That did not happen here. This experience raised serious concerns about transparency and customer service. I left feeling like I was being pressured into expensive repairs without enough information to make an informed decision. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before authorizing any work at this shop.
