Tyler rebuilt 4 classics great paint, good body work, lousy mechanics. All 4 have been rebuilt, cheap alternators, cheap breaking bolts, cheap Dana rear ends, shoddy work. All 4 have broken down and left me stranded. Bad brakes (2), bad torque converter, bad warranty service. Expensive junk.

Tyler's guys helped me get a 1960's GM Truck Cab back in shape after 3 other body shops butchered it trying to replace floor and door sills. They did a great job and there were times when they progressed faster than I was ready for them to. They were working on the cab as I was doing chassis work and it wasn't ready to put the cab on by the time they had it ready. (How many times do you hear someone say that about a shop.) Their rates for the level of work and expertise they provide are more than reasonable even though not the cheapest quoted. To that end : Stay away from cheaper "get you in the door" lower quoting shops. Tyler and staff are straight up and don't pull punches about costs and time associated with the kind of top shelf projects they work on and A+ work and craftsmanship they provide.

View on GoogleI had a terrible experience at another shop who rebuilt, installed and blew my original engine for my 69 corvette. North Texas Customs was the only shop that would take on my project that someone else screwed up. Tyler, Nicole, Kelly and crew took my car in installed the engine after it was rebuilt again. They identified and fix the other issues that the previous shop created. The car runs awesome now. These people do what they say. They stand behind their work. They are just really good people who know their stuff. I won’t let anybody else touch it now.
