State Inspections

I was there on 2nd of October. There was one car in the shop seems like for there for state inspection, there were 2 more cars in the parking lot waiting, I was third in line. Owners might be wondering why this place is not doing good and does not receive good reviews! It used to be state inspection only now oil change is on the menu too. When you have just one mechanic in the shop, 3 cars wait time is more than an hour! Ridicules! I left after waiting for 30mins and went to Christian Brothers and I do not think I will ever visit this location again!

This is a real review. Have 2 stars on it because the wait time was very short. Had me in and out in 10 minutes. That’s the good. The bad is why I won’t go back. There’s plenty of fish in the sea, per se. Within 15 seconds of walking up to my truck the guy informed me that I will have to replace my windshield wipers in order to pass the safety portion of the inspection, and rattled off the prices. I opted for the 24.99 RainX. (They needed replacing that wasn’t a lie). The lie was I needed to get them to pass my truck. I only found this out because he passed my vehicle without replacing them and forgotten to charge for them. I reminded him saying “I thought I needed those to pass inspection?” This added 50 bucks to my total. I didn’t need those to pass, it was a lie. Had he simply asked if I wanted them to replace them I would’ve said yes anyway. In this day and age I believe we need trustworthy people working on our automobiles. Service was fast and easy, but I won’t be going back

There's some dumb sour grapes reviews here. So I'm going to stand out from the crowd and not give a full 5 stars so that someone seeing the desparate 1 star reviews might see this one as the review that's positive, but different enough from the 5 star reviews to be real. I've taken both my cars here for two years for a total of four inspections. Never had an issue. It is, of course, a place of business with lines of customers and rules to follow. So do the normal person thing when you go here, wait your turn, read a book, and listen to your technician when they are telling you why your car failed. If it bothers you that they sell wind shield wipers and have an interest in selling them to you, try using the words "no thank you" and find some windshield wipers somewhere else. If you're super paranoid, you can even use the phone that you're using to 1-star bomb a local business to take pictures of your car before and after. But really, if your crisis was endemic, do you think this place would stay in business?

Fast service, polite mechanic. Was able to get us in when other places were not. This place only does State Inspections so you’re in and out real quick, no need to wait for Jane Doe and her oil change or Joe Shmoe and his tire rotation.

Horrible place. First there machines didn't work then moved to a different station. I asked if my tint would pass since I got a new car (never had it inspected before) never answered me and failed the car cause of the tint. Charged me and now telling me to come back without your tint. Horrible customer experience NEVER COMING BACK
