Greatwood Kwik Kar Lube and Tune

I recently took my car to Greatwood Kwik Kar & Lube for an oil change, brake service, and a state inspection. While the services themselves were completed, my overall experience was extremely disappointing. When I picked up my vehicle, I discovered that my windows had been left open during a heavy downpour. I have no idea how long my car sat in the rain, but the inside was clearly exposed. I brought it to their attention and asked them to dry it out. Unfortunately, the response was minimal—they only did a light surface drying and then had me drive my own car out of the service bay. On my way home, I quickly realized the extent of the damage. My shorts were wet from sitting in the driver’s seat, and the area under my seat was completely soaked. This is unacceptable and shows a serious lack of care and attention to customers’ property. I am very upset about this experience and will be contacting management as soon as possible. I expected a basic level of professionalism and accountability, and this situation fell far short.

I've used this location off and on for many years for the inspections mostly with no issues until recently. I sent my daughter to get the emissions test done to renew the registration for her car. They should've hooked up their computer and been done within 5 minutes. Instead, they did a safety inspection (which is not required now and they have never done it correctly to begin with) and told her the brakes were shot and the rotors need to be replaced and failed the car. She left and went to our mechanics shop to confirm if brakes we needed. Guess what!!! There was nothing wrong with the brakes or rotors. I get it that it's a business need to make money, but to prey on the weak to pad the profits is absurd. To bad there isn't an option for 0 or negative stars. If you choose to do business here, good luck.

We have been using this Kwik Kar for several years. But no more. My husband took our 2016 Honda Accord in for an oil change last week, he was price gouged by the current manager there. Apparently they are under new management or owners Here's the breakdown: - 4.4 quarts Synthetic oil - $89.99 ($20.43 per quart). Same oil at HEB $6.95 per quart. - 1 new a/c cabin filter $49.99. Same filter at O'Rielly's $12.49 - Total bill (including tax +/- $151.50. Total oil change took approx. 10 minutes. If it wasn't the fact that he's 72 years old finds it difficult to get under the car to drain the oil, He would have done it himself, for around $43. No pricing was discussed prior to the service (should have asked). As it turns out the labor cost must be around $600 per hour. Beware! Do not go there! They are a total rip off! It's obvious their "positive reviews" are bogus.

Went in to get an oil change and alignment and nobody there told me that one of my tires was completely bald with the wires exposed. I drove on it for two weeks fortunately nothing happened, but they still aligned my car with the ball tires and didn’t say a word safe to say I’ll never be going back

Excellent customer service, I went in for an oil change they also checked my air filters and offered to replace them I made an appointment to do that later during the week. They were quick and clean their customer service is great they’re all very friendly and very nice people. I will definitely continue to use them and I highly recommend them.
