I brought my car to Dr. Automotive for what should have been a simple repair, but it turned into a long, stressful, and expensive experience. After having my vapor canister and battery replaced, I received a “check left and right low beam” warning immediately after leaving. When I returned to ask about it, I was yelled at and belittled by one of the brothers and told to take my car elsewhere. I left the shop in tears. Despite that, I gave them another chance. Soon after, my car wouldn’t start and had to be towed back. I was told to buy specific headlight bulbs, waited a week for them to arrive, and then was told they gave me the wrong information, costing me return shipping and a restocking fee. After buying the correct bulbs, I was then told I needed an entire new headlight. After the bulb was replaced, I noticed water inside the headlight following a car wash—something that never happened before they worked on it. When I returned and asked them to check if it was properly sealed, they didn’t inspect it and immediately said I now needed two new headlights. Everything done was paid for. My issue is the lack of accountability, poor communication, and unprofessional behavior. I’m now forced to pay another mechanic to fix issues I believe were caused or overlooked here. Very disappointing experience. UPDATE: After posting my review detailing my personal experience, I received text messages (posted below) from the owner later that evening around 9:00 PM. My review accurately reflects what occurred. All services were paid for, and my concern was never the cost, but the repeated miscommunication, being given incorrect parts information, and the lack of inspection when issues came up. I stand by my review and hope future customers have a smoother experience. I did not complain when issues arose, as again, this was never about money. I was quoted $334 for a headlight bulb and was advised that I could purchase the part myself and bring it in. I was given a specific part number, which ended up costing me about $100. Choosing that option was simply a reasonable decision, not an attempt to cut corners. Most of my communication with the shop involved returning calls or asking questions about my vehicle. On the day I called regarding my car not starting, the shop had unexpectedly closed early—this occurred just two days after I had paid nearly $1,000 and was told everything was fixed. I genuinely wish this company well and hope they are able to provide improved communication and customer service to future customers.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! As a woman who knows very little about cars, I felt completely comfortable from the moment I walked in. The team took the time to explain my AC issue in clear, easy-to-understand terms without a hint of condescension. At past shops, I’ve been hit with misogynistic comments like, "Have your husband bring it in," or "It'll be easier if I just explain this to your father." None of that exists here. Just honest, respectful, and highly professional service. I cannot recommend them enough!

My truck was not blowing air properly. They gave me options towards fixing. They were very fair and upfront in repairs. They did not try to cheat me when another issue arose. Same day service and were very courteous. Will be back and recommend!!

I took my cadillac after searching snd ensuiring about my check engine and other issues at a couple of other mechanics to this place. I was glad i went to them because they fixed the issue after understanding thf issue abd explsining in detail. They hsd thd patience to run with each snd every code and suggesting the most efficient fix.What more the price was very reasonable snd they fixed it on hhe same day .Would definitely recommend this plsce looking gor s permanent fix at an affordable price.
