Aaron at Kwik Car was excellent to work with. He was very helpful, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. View on GoogleI went there for a car inspection and to have my AC checked. The whole process took about three hours, and no one came to let me know when the car was ready. In the end, I was charged over $200 for AC-related services that had already been performed, without anyone informing me beforehand. On top of that, they still did not fix the AC and gave me an estimate of around $1,000 for further repair. I would not ask them to check my AC if I knew it was going to cost me $200. I was not charged for the inspection itself. The employee who handled my car told me he “wouldn’t charge for it,” almost as if it were some kind of special favor or discount, which honestly felt strange. I would much rather be charged for services I explicitly agreed to than for work that was done without my consent beforehand. This may be unrelated, but I also would not recommend leaving cash or wallets in your car, even in the glove box. That said, I think the experience really depends on which employee handles your car. While I was waiting, I saw other customers being helped by a different employee, and their visits typically took only 20–30 minutes. That employee also walked customers to their cars and explained any issues that needed attention before doing additional work, and those customers left without being charged for services they had not requested beforehand. If you already know and trust a mechanic or employee at this place, you will probably be fine (as long as you stick to the staff you trust). But if you are a first-time customer and unfamiliar with the staff, I would highly recommend avoiding this place.
