When our check engine light came on in our truck, AutoZone was able to tell us what the code meant. It said there was an issue with Active grill air shutter system. We spoke with the dealership and they wanted to keep my truck for three days to diagnose the problem, then it would be more days and no telling how much to fix it. We contacted another automotive shop and they said it would be $200 just to diagnose the problem, in addition to the cost of the part and labor to fix it. Next we made a phone call to Mavericks Automotive and asked for a quote to check the truck and if needed, to replace the part. We were sent a quote that included the cost for the active grill air shutter system part to be replaced (if needed) and the cost of the labor. We were able to get an appointment the next day. Everyone we interacted with there were welcoming and took time to speak with us about the truck. Shortly after dropping it off, they let us know that they had checked the part and it would need to be replaced. They were able to replace the part and have our truck ready by the end of the day! The cost was exactly what they quoted me, with no extra unexpected charges added to our bill unlike when we take it to the dealership to get work done on it. We are so happy with our decision to call Mavericks Automotive! Next time, we will make Mavericks Automotive our ONLY call for any of our vehicles in the future!
