A true professional. Matt is a skilled honest mechanic Thankful they still exist! After being told by another corporate owed shop that I should buy a new car because mine needed 7000 dollars worth of work!! All I wanted was valve covers and spark plugs because I had an oil leak.. Matt fixed my car and reassured me my 2011 Lexus was worth keeping! What a relief!! .

My wife and I had gone to the moon and back trying to get rid of a shake from a car we purchased a year ago. We had a close family friend who is a mechanic at a major big name car manufacturer's dealership in town who would take our cars into work and plug them into all the fancy machines, lift them up, etc. He had replaced several things, which made the shake even worse, nearly undrivable! As a last-ditch effort, we were referred to Matt at Hauschild Automotive, gave him a call, told him everything I knew that had been done, and he told me to bring it in. Took it in on Tuesday afternoon, knowing he couldn't look at it until the morning. By 10 or 11 AM I got the call with the diagnosis, cost for parts and labor, and I gave him the green light to go ahead. I never expected to get a call by about 1:30 PM letting me know that "It drives like a brand new car!" And it does, he wasn't lying! My wife and I were so impressed with the level of skill and care that went into the work he did for us. Matt has a new customer for life that we will bring our other cars to from now on!

Went into hauschild for a second opinion after being told by another mechanic that my husband’s head gasket on his truck was blown and needed to be replaced. Not only were they quick with the diagnosis, but found that just the coolant cap needed to be replaced. Other than selling us on thousands of dollars of work, which we were fully expecting, they were honest and thorough and quite frankly helped us breathe a sigh of relief before Christmas. Thank y’all so much! Highly recommend and will be using in the future.

Within minutes after posting for an auto mechanic on Facebook, Matt responded right away with his business name and phone number. I reached out to him, told him the issue I was having with my truck told me to get it to his shop. After the truck sitting at a dealership for over two weeks, I had it towed to Matt shop and within hours he had a diagnosis and a plan to fix. The next day he called and told me it was ready. Matt very knowledgeable, and customer service was second to none. I definitely recommend his services to anyone needing any automotive work.

I have been taking my vehicles to Matt for years. I just read a terrible review from Joe Falcon and I can only surmise that Mr.Falcon only hears what he wants to hear. Matt runs a mechanic shop out of a small 1 bay building with limited parking. This is important because Matt is a throwback to a day when everyone was not out to charge an arm and a leg for a simple job. He is extremely honest and fair in costs. Because he is honest and fair he is swamped with repeat customers (myself being one). Matt does not have time for big projects that take tons of work and tons of time (restorations) because they take up critical space in his parking lot and restorations are a huge nightmare with very little return for all the work. Matt usually only has 1 project vehicle at a time that he works on only when he gets a break from making a living fixing all the daily cars that come to his shop. If he takes on a “project” vehicle, don’t expect it back in 3 weeks or even 3 months. If you want quick turnaround on a project, you need to call garage squad because the words fast and project vehicle do not go together. Matt has taken on 2 projects for me and each one has taken longer than a year. Best time and money I’ve ever spent. They both perform flawlessly and I couldn’t be happier. Matt is truly the most honest mechanism I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. If you want a good quality repair job you can be confident in then call Hauschild Automotive.
