I’m not trying to hate on this business because I had used them before and previously had a great experience. However, this visit left me confused and disappointed. I brought my car in for a brake replacement and later received a call that it was ready. During that call, I was informed that the wheel cylinders had been replaced due to leaking. While I appreciate them addressing an issue they found, I was never contacted beforehand to approve the additional work or cost. I was told labor wasn’t charged, but I was still charged for the parts. When I arrived to pay, my friend who is more knowledgeable about cars questioned why I hadn’t been called for authorization. The explanation I received was that they were busy and assumed it would be okay since labor wasn’t being charged. My friend also noticed that I had been charged for a new air filter, which I was never asked about either. When we requested to see the old filter, it appeared to be clean and not in obvious need of replacement. To the managers credit, he apologized and removed $100 from the bill. However, I was still disappointed by the lack of communication regarding additional services and charges. There was also an issue at checkout where I was accidentally charged the full amount and now have to wait for the refund to process through my bank. Overall, the work may have been done with good intentions, but customers should always be contacted and asked for approval before additional parts or services are added to a bill. Better communication would have made this a much more positive experience. Update: After posting my review, the manager personally reached out to apologize for my experience. He listened to my concerns, acknowledged the mistakes that were made, and made things as right as he could. I really appreciated his willingness to help and his effort to correct the situation. While the original experience was frustrating, I respect how professionally he handled my concerns afterward.

I had an outstanding experience with Brake Solutions. Austin, the manager, was awesome to work with from start to finish. I requested a quote for a full brake job. Rotors, calipers, pads, everything… and received it the same day, which was already impressive. But what really stood out was their honesty. When I brought my Jeep in, they did a full inspection and told me everything was actually in good shape and didn’t need replacing. That level of integrity is rare. Most shops would have gone ahead and done the work and charged me the $1,500 without thinking twice. If you’re looking for a shop you can trust, this is it. Straightforward, professional, and honest—top notch all the way.

Austin and team have been servicing our 2016 Mazda CX-5 and 2015 Honda Pilot for the past 7 years now. I can't imagine going anywhere else for auto service. I took my car to Break Solutions a few months ago to replace my break pads, and do a tire rotation for my vehicle and after having lackluster experience at a chain oil change place I went back to Break Solutions for my next oil change and filter replacement. I will continue to return to them for any and every car need they can help me with! Shout out to Austin and Casey, they were both delights to speak to and very helpful with any questions I had both times. The services are very well priced especially for how quick and well done the work is here. I’m glad we have them here in town!

Brake Solutions was great and honest. Austin took the time to explain everything clearly and didn’t try to upsell unnecessary work. The service was professional, fast, and at a great price. We will definitely be returning for any future work. Highly recommend.
