Driver's Edge

I took my r34 skyline up to DE for an allignment, ive been turned away from many places due to what my vehicle is. They guys at DE were happy to take on the task and get it done. Being that its a jdm vehicle the specs had to be researched as walker machine dosnt have them readily available after about an hour i got the keys back and headed home...ezpz right? Well small issue came up on the way home and it felt like my rear end was walking out and skating all over the place! Worried I pulled over called the guys at DE and within 30 minutes they had a tow truck out to get me and took it back to the shop, now this was around 5pm and they close at six so being a Friday night I made plans to be ready to get my car back hopefully monday.. not with these amazing dudes at this shop. The next morning on Saturday by 930 am they called me letting me know my vehicle was ready and in good order. They found the right specs for allignment and got her fixed up and riding straight. Amazing. We are all human and mistakes happen. Its how you handle situations under these pressures and the guys at drivers edge handled this better than any thing ive seen. I 100% recommend spending your time and money here at this shop these guys are real people and treat their customers with love and compassion. EDIT.... id like to point out that my vehicle is equipped with speed monitoring and dash cam in and out recording devices...I reviewed the footage after I got home of the test drives and im so happy to say that my vehicle was treated with the upmost respect. Its not every day that people get to drive a 300hp r34 and I would understand the urge to spool the turbo and feel the power but the test drive was modest and respectful and within the laws of the road. Thank you for taking care of my car. Its hard to find people you trust and it goes a very long way.

Easy service, great price and transparent feedback. Took my son’s car to get an alignment and the brakes checked. Was very honest with the fact we did not need brakes and completed the alignment with great work. Will definitely do business again, was glad they did not try to offer services that were not needed.

Fast friendly service. Very pleased with speed of service and friendliness of staff everyone working good together to please the customer. For any future repair on my car I will definitely come back to driver's edge or service.

A day after a holiday weekend, I was a walk-in at Driver's Edge. Chris, the store manager, was super helpful handling the needed service and explained costs for future recommended service. All customers who came in, while I waited, got the same careful considerations to their requests. Chris was short staffed due to the holiday and was more than happy to accommodate everyone.

Needed to get a repair done to pass inspection. They quoted a $3,500 repair for a ton of extra work after three visits. When I asked if the work was necessary for my vehicle to pass inspection they insisted it was. They then attempted to push me to finance the repair through their credit services. After taking my vehicle to a competitor and found the issue within 10 minutes. It was a simple fix that cost $45 in parts and labor. If I had went with the $3,500 repair the issue preventing me from getting my inspection done would have still been present as the shop had noticed the issue after 3 visits. I highly recommend you avoid this shop at all costs as they will attempt to overcharge you and imply you need a lot more work than you actually need while never dealing with the actual issue. Very nice people, very shady practices.
