I truly enjoy coming here for any car repairs or maintenance. JD has become my go-to guy, he is incredibly knowledgeable, honest, and reliable. The pricing is always fair, and the quality of work gives me confidence every time. My wife and I recently sold both of our newer vehicles and purchased two older, paid-off cars. We know that owning older vehicles means staying on top of maintenance, and having Sun & Auto in our corner has given us real peace of mind. It’s hard to find a shop you can trust, but we’ve found that here. Highly recommend JD and the entire team!

I had a very frustrating experience with Sun Auto. I brought my Tesla in because it was vibrating at high speeds. They recommended a “comprehensive vehicle inspection,” which cost me about $75. After the inspection, they told me my two front tires were experiencing separation (on a vehicle with only 15k miles) and tried to sell me new tires for around $850. I specifically asked if it could be a balancing issue, but they insisted the vibration would not go away because of the supposed tire separation. I decided to get a second opinion at NTB, and I’m glad I did. They found the real issue was with the foam inside the tires being displaced. They rebalanced the front tires, fixed the vibration completely, and only charged me $50. This felt like either a major misdiagnosis or an attempt to upsell unnecessary work that would have cost me hundreds of dollars. To make things worse, I called Sun Auto afterward to address the incorrect diagnosis and specifically asked for a manager to call me back. I never received any follow-up. Overall, I’m very disappointed with both the service and the lack of accountability. Based on my experience, I would not recommend even going here.

I am generally a DIY'er, I had two problems with my 1997 Suburban. 1. The A/C system was leaking freon, they tested it and told me where the leaks were, I replaced the compressor and lines myself and then they charged the system, works great! Its nice to find a shop that will work with you !. 2. I had a miss on cyl 4 & 8. I had been trying to figure it out for some time, replaced the normal stuff, plugs,wires distributor cap and it kept on missing. Thier Mechanic "Marco" spent under an hour troubleshooting the miss and asked me if the plugs, wires and cap were chinese products and I said yes. He then said that was the problem. I replaced them all with AC Delco parts and problem solved. I will never buy Chinese parts again!. I will definately be a return customer to this shop on 1463!

I meant to leave this review a few months ago, however I will say if you’re coming here just do your research on the services you need beforehand. I went up there to get a quote for a headlight replacement and they tried to up-sale me on some other things that needed to be done for my car. As a first time owner of a car I’m thinking they were trying to help me but they scammed me, either using old spark plugs or not replacing mine at all. I ended up going to a family mechanic and they review all the services Sun Auto was supposed to have done on my car and they confirmed that either they didn’t do them at all or they didn’t do them properly. I will say though of all the services I did get done the headlight replacement was done properly and it looks great, but was pretty pricy compared to other places. But if you need any service dealing with the actual mechanics of the car, I would recommend going somewhere else more trustworthy.
