I had several separate repairs and routine maintenance items that needed attention, and the whole process was handled professionally from start to finish. Chris at the front desk was especially great to work with. He was very knowledgeable, took the time to answer questions, and kept me updated with prompt status updates throughout the process. Communication was excellent, which made everything much easier and gave me confidence that things were being handled properly. The work was completed efficiently, and it was clear they cared about both the quality of the repairs and customer service. Finding an automotive shop you trust can be tough, but Smith's Automotive definitely earned my business going forward.

I've been to Smith's automotive several times and each time they have been extremely helpful. I bought a catalytic converter from them for our son's car and installed it myself and when the code popped up for the exhaust system again a few months later they honored the warranty immediately and the new catalytic converter has been fine. My wife's car needed the A/C system flushed and recharged and they were much less expensive. I asked why other shops all quoted me such high amounts and I was told that the "book" amount is actually 1.5 hours and the amount that other shops charge is actually "correct" yet they only charge .5 hours for a simple recharge because they felt that 1.5 hrs was a little much (however, some newer systems may require a bit more). I appreciate their honesty and good work.

What I appreciated most was their honesty and clear communication they explained what was wrong, what needed to be done, and didn’t try to upsell anything unnecessary. The work was done in a timely manner, and both vehicles are running perfectly now. It’s hard to find a reliable and trustworthy mechanic, but this shop definitely delivered. I’ll be coming back for any future work and highly recommend them to anyone needing quality service.
