I am big on reviews. The reviews for Katy Auto Experts were good. I wanted vehicle rear shock absorbers to be looked at along with explaining the issue. When I walked in I asked if someone could look at the rear shocks. First I was asked have you had suspension work. I answered yes to front but not rear. Then was asked what was the year, make & model. Then the question of how many miles on the vehicle. Was told with that many miles they need to be replaced. I was asked to complete the paperwork. Then told to wait 5-10 minutes for my quote. During the process of creating the quote I was asked if the vehicle has electronic suspension. W

I brought my vehicle in for cooling fan/radiator fan replacement and A/C service after having issues with overheating at idle and the A/C not cooling properly. I approved the recommended work and was originally quoted about a four-hour timeframe, but the repair ended up taking about three days due to parts delays and other factors. I do want to say the service staff seemed honest and polite overall, but I also got the impression they may be overworked and taking in a lot of same-day vehicles. Because of that, it felt like my vehicle was overlooked or not prioritized the way it should have been, especially given the original timeframe and the amount I spent. Shout out to Isaiah because I'm sure he jumped in to help out. The most frustrating part was that after the work was completed, I still had to bring the vehicle back because the A/C was not cooling properly. To their credit, they did take the car back in and correct the issue, and my A/C is now blowing cold again. I appreciate that they ultimately resolved the main problem. However, there was also an uncomfortable situation with the cabin air filter. I noticed before leaving that it had not been replaced, even though it was included as a charge. When I said I would rather order the filter myself for less, the discounted cash rate was discussed in a way that made me feel pressured to continue with their filter in order to keep the discount. Overall, I’m glad the A/C issue was corrected and I do appreciate the staff for fixing it. That said, the delayed timeline, having to return because the work was not fully right the first time, and the cabin filter interaction left me feeling disappointed in the overall experience.

Absolutely incredible experience. Isaiah explained everything to me in detail. He let me know what it looks like, explained what each part could be impacted by and offered best next steps. Ultimately very thorough, respectable service. I appreciate it very much. Thank you and God bless you and your business and your families. Came for an oil change, full synthetic, high mileage, reasonably priced and left with knowledge.

I want to start if my saying my knowledge of cars is very limited. I have been experiencing issues with my brakes for some time and did not know where I could take my car. I searched Google for a mechanic shop that I could trust to take car of my car and thank God I found Katy Auto Experts! I went in and had a brake check done for free and Isaiah was so helpful and professional. He explained everything to me and worked with me to create a plan that worked for me. I feel the cost was more than fair as I had work done on both front and back brakes. I now have a new shop to take my car too that I can trust. Service was quick as well. I walked in with no appointment( on a Saturday)around 9:45 and my vehicle was complete by 1. Thank you so much Isaiah and Katy Auto Experts!!!
