Don’t take your car or truck here! Don’t let the reviews fool you I learned the hard way. I’m $1,000 in the hole, and to this day my A/C and heater still don’t work. I was hesitant to let anyone else touch it because I was afraid of getting ripped off again. When you have an older truck, you have to be careful about who works on it. Always ask for the old parts back after they replace them so you have proof they actually did the work they charged you for. Also there are two auto shops and they ran by different people they are not together..

Terrible service, here is how they changed the oil pan sealant. Paid $360 and then had to take the car to another place to fix the oil leakage. The sealant was even in the oil filter.

Horrible service!! I took my car here 3 months ago and they were supposed to replace all breaks and drums. Well this week, I noticed that there was a grinding noise coming from the tires. I decided to go ahead and check them. They looked like this. I called to talk to the manager and he told me this happens every 3-4 months. Also I was told it depends on how fast you drive and use the breaks. Considering I use a company truck for travel my car sits alot not being used. The manager was very rude and flat out told me he doesn't believe me. I then asked if this was how he treats all of his customers he said yes.

Most RELIABLE and HONEST car care provider. I had an electrical issue in my car; no light on dashboard. I took my car at one of the most reputed car care in Katy. They said they will charge $250 to do a diagnostic check. I thought that is too high and then I took my car to Discount Car Care. They checked and found the fuse was bad. They replaced it and it was a total of about 30 minutes waiting time. They even said it’s a minor thing; you don’t have to pay. But I paid small amount. After that I trust Discount Car Care. I think they are the most honest people in the area.

I cannot agree with Erin more in the below review more. DO. NOT. TAKE. YOUR. CAR. HERE. I wish I could rate 0 stars. I brought my car into this shop a year and a half ago because I needed a new battery and they were the only place open on a Sunday. The battery I got from them only lasted a year and a half so I brought the car back to see about getting the battery replaced under warranty a couple of months ago. They misdiagnosed that I needed a new alternator (they will say that I did need a new alternator but two different shops told me that was not the case). I let them replace the alternator which was mistake #2 as coming back to this place was mistake #1. When replacing the alternator, they completely cracked all of the brackets around it, causing thousands of dollars worth of damage. I brought it back to them to fix (mistake #3) and they then caused even more damage to my car. Not only did they let the same mechanic who broke all of it in the first place work on my car again, it took them FIVE alternator replacements before they finally got it “right”. It was over a month of pure hell and accruing rental car expenses out of my own pocket due to their complete incompetence. They caused my check engine light to come on, they caused my car to go into emergency mode while driving multiple times, and they did so much damage that TWO different mechanics after them said my 5 year old car would be deemed totaled. They will say this is a lie, but I have the pictures to prove it. To make it all even worse, while my car was in their shop, it was completely wiped clean and all of my stuff was stolen. The owner gives absolutely ZERO care about customers and just wants to make money. I demanded to speak to him and he refused to speak to me after his shop completely destroyed my car and wiped it clean. I accrued thousands of dollars in rental car fees. He will lie and say I was offered a car to drive from them, but it was his old beater car with almost 300,000 miles on it that wasn’t offered to me until the final week of this entire disaster. He will also say he was unaware of the situation with my car, but his employees showed PROOF that he was lying and that was not the case. He will also lie and say I was reimbursed, but I was only offered $500 which isn’t even a drop in the bucket for all of the money I had to pay because of them (not to mention all of my stolen things). I cannot believe this place is allowed to stay in business and take advantage of people. My car was only 5 years old and perfectly fine and they completely destroyed it. I had to buy a new car because of the damage they caused. And again, they will say this is a lie, but I had opinions from TWO different mechanics after taking it to Discount Car Care and everyone is completely flabbergasted how they were even able to create such a dumpster fire. And again, I have picture proof. So you’re better off just lighting your car on fire, because honestly, after they are through with it, you will have the same outcome anyways. Had the owner just admitted they completely messed up, reimbursed me for all the expenses I had to pay, and maybe shown some humanity, I would have moved on from this. But because of their lack of care, negligence, and just pure incompetence, I will never stop telling people to steer clear of this place.
