I recently got four new Michelin tires installed at the Costco Tire Center in Katy, TX, and the service was excellent! The staff were friendly, professional, and efficient. They explained everything clearly and finished the job right on time. The whole experience was smooth and hassle-free. I’m very satisfied with their work and would definitely recommend this location to others.
View on GoogleWorst experience ever. Wasted 4 days of my life going there to replace 2 tires. First time I purchased the tires but they said I need an appointment to get them installed. Second time after going on time for my appointment and waiting about an hour and 20 minutes they called and asked me to come to the shop. The guy showed me 2 nuts that he couldn't remove, he marked them and told me to go to a mechanic shop to do it. I went to my mechanic and spent the afternoon waiting for my turn, then he did it in 5 minutes. Went back the next day to Costco, they said I don't have an appointment but they'll do their best, I explained what I've been through and told the guy I need the car in an hour and a half to pickup my grand children from school. After waiting an hour and a half I made a new appointment and took the car to get the kids. Next time I went on time for my appointment, half an hour later they call me to go to the shop. The guy tells me about another nut he couldn't remove and I had to take the car to a mechanic to get it removed. I requested a refund and left the shop mission unaccomlished. If they were the last place on earth to get tires I'll go back to riding a burros.
View on GoogleThey damaged my rims (2 of them) and then routed me to their claims department. They then denied me any coverage despite admitting their footage was too grainy to tell if the damage was present on the car before they began work and the actual associate even admitting the damage simply couldn’t have been done while driving. I also provided before pictures and they said nothing “could be done”. There’s also apparently evidence of this all over the internet. NEVER USE THEM.
View on GoogleCame for a tire nail repair. Was able to make an appointment on the same day via online. Came prepared for the worst on wait time but was out by 8pm for the 7pm appointment on a Monday. Raphael communicated well and did a solid job.
View on GoogleBroke one tire stud, and it took me about 10 hrs to fix the problems they created (had to fix at abother mechanic, walk home, deal with damage claim, etc). Simple 15 min job (per their starement) takes 2 hrs. Manager is not friendly/caring about the hassle his team caused. Go to another costco location.
