John and Dusty took great care of me. I had a suspension issue and they diagnosed it with a few hours, had the parts there shortly after and repair was complete all in the same day. Even changed my oil and rotated my tires. Dropped off at 8am and was driving home by 3:30pm. Highly recommend
View on GoogleI’ve been a customer at this shop for many years and have brought at least three different vehicles here for service over time. While I always knew their prices were on the higher side compared to other mechanics, my most recent interaction made me decide I won’t be returning. In the past, I had the condenser replaced on my 2008 Lexus for over $2,000 in parts and labor, and I also had the engine and transmission mounts replaced for another $2,000+. Looking back, I probably should have explored other options sooner because those prices already felt excessive. The final straw was when I asked about replacing an oxygen sensor. I was quoted over $600 for a single sensor replacement. I don’t remember whether that quote included both parts and labor or just labor, but I specifically mentioned that I already had the sensor and only needed installation. Considering a Denso oxygen sensor can be purchased for around $150 at AutoZone or similar stores, the remaining labor cost seemed extremely unreasonable. However, the pricing itself is not what ultimately made me change shops. What really disappointed me was the lack of transparency. Since they had previously replaced the mounts on my wife’s vehicle, during the trip I tried to get an estimate on the O2 sensor, I asked if they could provide the invoice with the part numbers or at least the brand of the parts they used for the mounts. One of the men at the front told me they “don’t disclose that information.” That response honestly shocked me. I explained that as a customer paying thousands of dollars for repairs, I should know whether OEM or aftermarket parts are being installed in my vehicle. Instead of giving a straightforward answer, he kept repeating that they were not required to disclose it. What made the conversation even more frustrating was that I could clearly see the condenser they previously installed was a Denso part, yet they still refused to provide that information on the invoice or verbally confirm it. For repairs costing over $2,000, customers deserve transparency about what they are paying for. Integrity and honesty go a long way in earning repeat customers. If customers are paying premium prices, they should at the very least know the brand and part numbers of the components being installed in their vehicles.
