I found another gem here at Hurst Import Car Repair & Services. I used to work on my own vehicles but now I no longer have the tools (weekend warrior only). Plus, Mercedes-Benz needs to be pampered with specialized tools. I am so glad I chose these folks to work on my Mercedes-Benz. After my coolant flush was done, I asked about a transmission fluid change on my E350 and Ben gave me the most detailed and honest quote. I already knew what it entails. A lot of mechanics that I've asked before never explained it that well without any bs. Ben was very professional and caring, yet straight forward with confidence. It was like taking my children to a loving family member to babysit. I didn't get the chance to meet his father (the original Master Tech) but I'm pretty sure Ben (Master Tech) got his good grace from his Pops. Great job Dad! I FOUND ANOTHER CONFIDENT HONEST AUTO REPAIR SHOP. THANK YOU FOR THE AWESOME WORK ON MY CAR!!!

Pulled up and was confronted with "Have you made an appointment with us because we are appointment only." He asked me to pull around and talk to the receptionist. That's completely understandable, fine with me. I said no and he asked what's wrong, so I told him the window won't roll up. It's probably the window regulator which is a common issue. He proceeded to tell me repeatedly that they work on Lamborghini, Porsche blah blah blah....these cars aren't cheap to work on. The entire spiel was infuriating for someone who was looking to bring you their money. I ignored the rudeness and said I found the part and it's $200-250 and before I could even finish sentence he says "Oh, then you can do it yourself." - Wow Learn how to talk to people without being rude! I was coming to you to bring you my business and that's how you treat someone. Ridiculous. Told me again they've been in business 46 years(but somehow only have 70 reviews )and all of a sudden he remembers that the receptionist isn't there.. lol. Don't listen to his lies if he responds....this place definitely deserves 0 stars for customer service or just being cordial. Maybe they do decent or good work, but I wouldn't know. Don't listen to his nonsense response to this when he makes one...He is just GENUINELY RUDE!

I brought my car in after the check engine light came on for a second opinion. I informed them of the diagnostic information previously provided by Volvo. I am not sure whether they performed their own independent diagnosis, but they told me it was a gasket issue, consistent with what Volvo had previously mentioned. The gasket was replaced, and I was told to bring the car back if the light came on again. The check engine light returned the next day, so I brought the vehicle back. When I initially picked up the car after the first repair, I noticed a small scratch on the steering wheel and mentioned it. I simply asked whether technicians wear rings, as I wanted to ensure more care would be taken. I was not requesting compensation or repair for the minor scratch. When I returned the vehicle, I was later asked to come back to the shop in person instead of discussing the issue by phone. I expected an update about the diagnostic findings. Instead, I was confronted for approximately 20 minutes regarding my previous comment about the scratch. I was told I had “red flags” as a customer and was criticized for implying a lack of care. I ultimately asked them to proceed with checking the vehicle and provide a diagnosis. The following day, I was informed that the issue was two O2 sensors and was quoted $1,600 for parts and labor. At that point, I decided to pick up my car and take it elsewhere because I did not feel comfortable with how my concerns were handled. When I went to retrieve the vehicle, I requested a written diagnostic report and written estimate. I was told they would not provide anything in writing and that they did not want their name attached to any documentation. I was also told that Volvo had already provided a diagnosis and estimate, and that should be sufficient. Due to the lack of transparency and professionalism, I chose not to proceed further.

If you ever need any maintenance or repairs done on your Honda or Toyota vehicle, than look no further than this mechanic shop. The people that work here, especially Ben, are very nice, very honest, and are very good at what they do. They get the work done surprisingly quick at a reasonable cost, and they're really good on communication and keeping you updated with the status of the repair or maintenance on your vehicle. I highly recommend this mechanic shop to anyone that needs any work done on their Japanese brand vehicle

If you are looking for a fast & honest mechanic that is wonderful, this is the right place. Ben stayed in communication with us, and once he got the ok, things were fixed quickly. I can't say enough good things about everyone that works there!
