Shottenkirk Toyota Weatherford Service Center

My experience with Shottenkirk's SERVICE department has been stellar. I set an appointment to fix my dead keyfobs, and showed up fearing that I'd have to replace them outright. Tim talked with me for a few minutes to diagnose the problem right there at the counter, and determined that the new batteries I had just put into the fobs were likely faulty. He put two new batteries into the fobs and they fired right up. Had me out the door in 10 minutes. Thanks Tim!

Found us a new Jeep Gladiator for the wife. Spoke with Blake about it. Great dude. We talked a lot about our other rides and made a good deal on the new one. Excellent customer service. Would definitely recommend to anyone look for a new car or just talk hot rods with.

Took vehicle in for 50k service. Left there with engine oil light still on, fluids not topped off, and streaking wiper blades due to rubber separating from wiper blades. This is a safety issue as it rained the next day. All these items part of their "50 point inspection" they supposably complete on vehicles. If they can't do the small things am worried about how they do oil changes and other major maintenance. Also they claimed they couldn't give any paperwork from the visit due to an issue with then contract with gulf-state the company they submit maintenance claims to. When I drove off the lot I heard a terrible metal on metal noise in front wheel well that eventually went away but had me very concerned and was not there previously. This location is out of the way for me and I was going here because I liked the service and thought they did a good job but not anymore. There are other locations more convenient for me and won't be back due to concerns over how they compete vehicle service. At a previous visit they refused to change my in cabin air filter because they claimed they could not verify my maintenance package in their computer and not sure if it was covered when they had submitted all previous work from other visits and could verify this in the system. It has been like pulling teeth every time I go in for service and has been very difficult. Wish they would take more pride in their workmanship.

Price of a diagnostic has gone up to $200, which is wild. Then they wanna toss an extra 3% on for using a credit card. Pass.

Predatory behavior: an extreme number of add-ons on the advertised sale prices that get you in the door. Literally saw a senior couple get taken advantage of. Purchase somewhere else.
