I came in for an oil change and a few miles from the shop oil was spewing out the top and leaking underneath. I called the shop and a tow truck was sent and the person who did the oil change just kept saying I have done so many of these and never a problem. No one ever apologized or offered a refund for all the trouble. They did figure out the O ring had split and replaced it. Very disappointed in the customer service.
View on GoogleIf you need work on your car, have some baseline knowledge of what is going on. Il let you all be the judge, i paid for a diagnostic to check on issues with my vehicle. My driver side window went out and was interested in an estimate on what it would cost to be repaired. I was quoted about $1,000 to repair the function to raise and lower the window. I was surfing social media and came across a trick to try on power windows that no longer work. Hold the button down 10 seconds then hold down the raise button for 10 seconds. I decided to try this. Now my window can go up and down. I would have assumed a skilled mechanic would have tried that before suggesting i do $1000 worth of work. **update** Just to provide clarification, my window would not roll down when clicking the button down. The reset procedure I did on my own fixed the problem. I can happily take it by and show them. I am not sure what they mean that it dosent make sense that the reset was able to fix the problem. If there is no power in the switch or motor, the reset would not have fixed this problem right? Did the mechanic even try to reset it before recommending $1000 in repairs?
