This shop specializes exclusively in rebuilds and provides a solid 18-month warranty for peace of mind. After visiting two other shops, I chose Frank and Frank Jr. because of their deep expertise. They didn't just suggest a basic rebuild; they recommended replacing the Thermal Bypass Valve and the rear main seal. Since my truck is high-mileage, these proactive "while you're in there" repairs showed they truly understand these vehicles and want to save the customer future headaches and labor costs. Transmission work is as much an art as it is a science, and you have to trust the person behind the wrench. While their pricing wasn't the lowest in town, it was fair and transparent. More importantly, the customer service was exceptional. Unlike the dismissive attitude you sometimes find in this industry, Frank took the time to explain the process and the "why" behind his decisions. He genuinely understands that a repair like this is a significant investment for a family. Even with a busy shop, he treats every customer with respect and patience. If you want a team you can trust to get you another 100,000 miles, this is the place. I have a hard time recommending shops to friends and family because there is a bit of accountability I assume by making a recommendation, but the experience I had was great and I will certainly recommend this transmission shop to my friends and family when they are in need or repairs or maintenance.

I had such a great experience with this family owned transmission shop. From the moment I walked in, they treated me with respect and honesty. Something that can be hard to find, especially as a woman. They took the time to clearly explain what was going on with my car without being condescending or trying to upsell unnecessary work.
