Convenient and fast. The team at Scott’s took great care of my older Toyota SUV with a front suspension rebuild of bushings, bearings, control arms, drive axle, and hub. They easily beat the dealer on their estimate, and were able to get the work done right away over the weekend. They were up-front about the costs, and carefully explained what was needed. They were communicative and followed up. It still seemed like a lot to pay for labor on a job that was completed in a day, but they did the job quickly and provided a loaner at no extra charge. They also didn’t charge for an evaluation. Really pleased with the convenience and transparency for this bigger job getting done quickly, and the service that came with it.

I would not recommend this auto repair shop to anyone who values honesty and transparency, particularly given the common concerns surrounding the automotive repair industry. While the staff may present themselves as friendly and approachable, my experience suggests otherwise. Prior to bringing in my vehicle, I spoke with Luis, who explicitly stated that there would be no charge for a diagnostic evaluation. He explained that they would inspect the vehicle and inform me of any issues requiring repair. The following day, I was contacted with an estimate of approximately $1,100 for an air intake boot replacement and a valve cover gasket replacement. Given the unexpected cost, I decided to seek additional quotes from other repair shops. Before retrieving my vehicle, I called again to confirm that there would be no charges, as only a visual inspection and an OBD2 scan had been performed. I was reassured that there would be no fee. However, upon my arrival, Luis informed me that my total balance was $294.99, contrary to what had been previously communicated. I recommend saving your time and money by avoiding this business. Based on my experience, I found their practices to be misleading and inconsistent with the level of transparency and professionalism customers should expect.

I brought my Nissan Frontier here for a major shifter module repair and paid about $1,880 for the work. The shifter issue does appear to be fixed now. The team was consistently courteous, and I want to acknowledge that. When the repair process first started, they arranged an Uber to bring me to the shop and provided a loaner because there was a delay with the part. Later, when I had to leave my truck again, they gave me another loaner. Johnny (I believe that was his name), in particular, went out of his way to help me transfer my bags between vehicles, and I really appreciated his kindness and effort. The problem is what happened after I picked up my truck the first time. The light around the shifter (the P‑R‑N‑D indicator) that used to work before the repair no longer lit up. This only changed after they worked in that same area. I had to come back again, sit and wait while they diagnosed it, and was told it was a blown fuse related to the work. There was no charge for that, which is appropriate. I spoke with the same person I had talked to earlier and explained that, between all the trips and waiting, I have spent about six hours of my time coming back and forth and sitting in the shop to correct something that should have been caught when the shifter was reinstalled. I said clearly that my time is valuable. He agreed that they should have caught it and apologized, but that was the end of it. There was no offer of any further consideration or gesture for the extra time and inconvenience. So overall: • The staff were polite and helpful, and they did try to accommodate me with rides and loaner cars. • But a problem created during the repair was only found after I picked up the vehicle, and it took about six hours of my time to get that corrected. After paying nearly $1,900, I expected more proactive ownership of that mistake and some acknowledgement beyond an apology, because my time matters just as much as the money I spent.

Hands down best auto repair business I’ve found in Houston. Military family and have lived in 8 states in the past 18 years…Scott’s is the best auto shop I have entered! Leo is knowledgeable and polite, he is a gem of of an employee.
