Another remarkable experience with Lucas Auto Care! We had our ‘16 BMW in for recent check-up and some needed service. Ryan was as hospitable as always making sure our needs were acomodated and schedules impacted minimally in preparing for us to drop off, keeping us informed of all progress and news while respecting our warranty coverage and budget. Chris was also very involved, keeping us updated when Ryan was unavailable, even chatting with me about BMW ownership advice and showing unparalleled care and concerns as this correspondence was after 7pm on a Friday evening during the holiday season. I am a champion of believing values including communication, hospitality, and respect of one’s time, are paramount in operating a highly successful business. This is especially true in our fast-paced, high-population area, where automobile enthusiasts are popular in our community. Lucas excels in every aspect mentioned, while going above and beyond to treat you and your rides like family. Our purchase of said BMW X5 back in ‘21 brought us together but the continued relationship is an amicable one fueled by the service and personnel at Lucas Auto Care. I wouldn’t even consider keeping the BMW without a warranty if Lucas Auto Care was not nearby….

Update: Was contacted by Lucas' Service Manager, Chris, within 30 minutes of my original review post. Chris sincerely apologized for my earlier experience and assured me that Lucas was genuiely interested in my business. He took the time to listen to what service work I was interested in, and had a detailed quote emailed to me the next day! Changing my review from 1 stars to 5 stars due to the great customer service I experienced with Chris. Original post: Not impressed. Walked in the front door to request a work estimate on my 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan. From the start of the conversation, the service advisor (short guy with a baseball cap) acted like I was inconveniencing him. On top of that, he had no idea what a haldex unit was (all-wheel drive clutch). For a shop that supposedly services Volkswagens this was an immediate red flag. When I told him that I was surprised that he didn't know what a haldex all-wheel drive clutch unit was he became very defensive and confrontational and started spouting off all kinds of other names of car parts that he knew, and also stated that they would need to bring the car in and sample all of the different oils to figure out which oils to put back in. It's 2026, that's what VIN numbers and computers are for. At that point I knew this was not the place for me. Having read all the great Google Maps reviews for this business, I was ready to spend the money to have them take care of several maintenance items for me. Nope.

This business is a cut above. I’m not sure how they could have done any better. From timely greeting to clarifying issued to thorough review of car with photos, they were excellent. I was given the right amount of time to do research before agreeing to service for my Porsche and they graciously answered my questions. Very thankful I found this place.

This review for the repair work. I had my suspension system replaced and 3 wheels that I didn’t know I needed. It didn’t appear that the car had a better ride initially so I was really concerned and decided to wait on doing this review. This was prior to replacing rear tires that was suggested by Lucas. Once the tires were replaced I have a much better ride now. The only issue was the amount of time it took to get parts and do the work which was almost a week and much longer than I was told when I brought the car in. Also I was not getting voluntary updates on my car which was concerning. Thank goodness I was given a loaner by Lucas. The manager, Chris , stepped in and made me feel better about my decision to take the car to Lucas since it was my first visit and it was a long drive for me. At this time I would recommend Lucas.

Been using Lucas for several years for my 2021 BMW X7. They work great with my extended warranty company who they actually recommended when I purchased the car (Fidelity). Ryan always takes good care of me and their prices are reasonable. Complimentary Uber ride home after I drop my car off is a nice perk. Never a big challenge to get it in and they fix what's broke and don't try to up sell me on a bunch of repairs I don't actually need. Highly recommend them if your looking for someone reliable and knowledgeable to work on your European car and are out of your factory warranty.
